Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

Carthrat pushes a couple buttons on his own mobile, sending out a jamming signal to fuck up that mobile.

[Anastasia]

As you walk into the sunshine, you see that the man shakes his cell phone a couple of times...

Your car is relatively nearby, as is a car that is giving your scanner a field day. Most Earth cars don't use controlled fusion to power themselves, nor have enough techinal gizmos to shame the Pentagon.

It's a black, sleek car in the current popular model, and it's near the entrance of the hotel.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat decides it's much more fun to steal this car, and gives a scan of it's security systems and populance.

[Anastasia]

As you walk up to the black car, the engine starts up. You cannot see inside due to tinted windows, but you can swear that you saw the shadow of a man...

The scan is disrupted a bit due to a low grade scanner, but you are sure that there are 3 men inside.

Suddenly, and to your shock, an energy net comes from the front grille! White/blue energy threaded into a mesh is coming at you quickly.

[Carthrat]

Out comes the Tachyon Disrupter, Cutting Torch on.

The powerful beam slices across both the car and the energy net as Carthrat rolls to the side, taking Rachel with him..

[Anastasia]

You fire as you dive out of the way, the edge of the energy net brushing your feet. You grit your teeth as a low grade shock comes from the contact, but you avoid getting caught up in the netting.

The beam shattered the windshield, and inside are three men in casual clothes. They are up and alive, and  you can see several flashes of drawn, sleek weaponry.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat flips out a handgun in his left hand, but dosn't use it to shoot inside the windscreen. He uses his Disrupter for that, pointing it inside and waving it around a bit to hopefully slaughter the inhabitants inside without damaging the car itself overmuch.

His keeps his other hand pointing in the direction of the hotel, expecting those other three goons to pop out any second..

[Anastasia]

Your beam cuts into the car's interior. A scream is heard and you see one goon fall, clutching his chest. The other two have ducked low, and a moment later pop out of the car fearlessly, one on each side. Both have what look to be protonic rifles in hand - enough to put a hole right through your energy shield and into your ass.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat swings his cutting-laser-of-horrible-doom across the closest guys chest, and the ducks and rolls behind the car so the other guy can't get him. At least not without shooting through the car.

[Anastasia]

Your laser glides across the goon's chest, sending him down as well in a bloody heap. As you get him, the other goon fires off a blast that bores deep into the car you are now using as cover.

And after the shot fires, a deep fog decends on the area, making sight impossible.  You hear confused sounds, and then a solid THUMP from the direction in which the goon is.

[Carthrat]

"Rachel! Hold your nose," orders Carthrat, holding his breath himself and trying to bail out back into the hotel, weapons ready.

A back exit, there'd be a back exit. Duh.

[Anastasia]

"It's okay, Carthrat!" she calls back, from in the direction of the goon.  "They're coming behind you!"

[Carthrat]

Carthrat flips his pistol behind him and fires a pair of shots, rolling forward and spinning around to get a better look..

[Anastasia]

You hear the shots go out, but you cannot see a thing in this damn fog. You hear people moving in your direction, but it's like fighting blind.

A energy blast flies past you from the direction from the direction of the hotel, narrowly missing you and going up and over your shoulder.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat drops a grenade and kicks it back towards the blast, diving down and lying flat.
