Saviours, the game!

Arael approaches the man carefully, on the look out for a magical attack more than a physical one.

"Whao are you?"

[kpjam]

Arael sees the man blink, his eyes not moving from the scene on the throne.  

"Rin," he responds in a hoarse whisper.

[Merc]

Remdos shakes his head, annoyed at how so much had gone wrong so fast. His quest in a new world somehow looked more like a dream now. While he still holds hope he'd find a solution to his problem before returning to his world, or worse, dying, he begins to also realize he needs to be more proactive to have a hope of getting his way.

Not wanting to deal with the distraught girl though, and having nobody better to try to figure out their new situation, Remdos walks up to the guy the girl Lafiel had been with, to strike up conversation.

[Carthrat]

Daggedal turns to the man. "How long have you been with Lafiel?"

[kpjam]

The man shakes his head, looking at the three people gathered around him as if seeing them for the first time.

"I've known her since she was a child.  If that's what you mean."

[Carthrat]

"No, how long have you been in hiding? Do you need healing?" replies Daggedal.

[kpjam]

"Oh.  No."   His continues to glance furtively back and forth between Daggedal and Lafiel.  "It only felt like a few moments.  Something to do with the magic of the spell."

[Corwin]

Miaka snaps out of her shock, and rushes over to Lafiel, settling over to brush the other girl's hair as she cries.

[Carthrat]

"Are you her bodyguard?" questions Daggedal.

[kpjam]

Rin stays quiet for a moment before responding.  "No...  Not really.  Zaphiel asked me to be prepared for this possibility.  Well, not exactly like this, but if something like this were to happen.   I was to be second in command of the raiding party we were sending in.."  He stops speaking and begins to look around.  

"Have you found anyone who survived?"

[kpjam]

Lafiel's sobs begin to lesson, though she shows no sign of recognizing Miaka's touch.

[Carthrat]

"We havn't found anyone," replies Daggedal. "But he havn't finished looking everywhere yet."

[kpjam]

Rin nods and walks up towards Lafiel.  Placing a hand on her shoulder.  Her reaction is instantanious.  Standing quickly, she spins in a tight circle, sending a fist crashing into the man's face.  

"Bastard!' she cries.

Rin is rocked back and stumbles to the ground before getting up, rubbing his cheek.

[Dracos]

O'karn roared, fingering a dagger from it's sheath and sending it after the further one, his long strides racking after the nearer one as he brought his gauntleted hand down upon his shoulder in a stunning blow.

Trying to kill one and incapacitate the other.

"Lafiel!" Miaka calls out. "Hitting him won't help, will it?"
