I love the RoD banner.

The third one (FFX?) should use a different color for the font than blue.  It blends in with that guy's (Seymour?) hair too much.  Possibly a gun-metal gray, or a soft yellow?  Not sure.  It's a good font though.  Can you tell me where I can get a copy? :D

I think the font is thundergod II itallic. I think. I got it from Merc, so hit Mr. "You have less than 900 fonts? HAHAHAHA!" up if you want it. ^^

Note: I prefer the top version, but people seem to like the lower one. >_>

Dunno why they would, Panda.  You're right, the top one is clearly superior having an understated elegance with the proper use of the black shadow compared to the more blatant blue shadow.</artsycrap>

Suggestions for banners...

A Sailor Moon one with Eternal Usagi in the middle, Ami and Minako on the left, and Makoto and Rei on the right.
It has to have some catchy phrase in it, like Soulriders - Home of the Queen, or Soulriders - Got Your Fuku? Something like that.

A Oh My Goddess one with Belldandy in the middle, Urd on the right, and Skuld peeking in on the left.

A Naruto one with Naruto powering up the Rasengan.

Think about it. We'd have the faces of Drac, Bjorn, Rez, Gin, Huitz, and Shade all lined up. Sure to scare away any who want to come! O_O

I screwed up a far better banner I was working on and didn't have the heart to try it again. I hope this, at least, meets the request requirements. ;_;

I feel good about this one, though I would have prefered using silver instead of purple. I couldn't get the color to come up, though. Just a bunch of ugly greys.

THere are a lot more layers in this one than in the previous banners, and I'm still trying to get the hang of gradients. Enjoy.

I think it would be better off without the gradients.  And the letters for 'Soulriders' seem a bit too tall to me.

Actually, the font style is good, but the font size is slightly too large and the letters need to be centered better.

We need less anime on these banners. >_>

There are lots and lots of anime forums and such around, but not as much Gaming. There has been talking about shifting the focus of Soulriders away from Anime and more into Gaming. Not completely taking anime out, of course, just showing the Gaming side more.

And unfortunatly, most of the banners here focus strongly on the Anime aspect of the board and not the Gaming part.

So while the banners here are nice, they have too much anime in them.

Can get we some more D&D-style banners, perhaps?

Or even adjusting some of the existing banners so they say Soulriders: Gaming Relm instead.

I'd like to just say Thanks to everyone who has tossed in a banner so far and particularly to Inuyasha-chan who has taken the work of getting everything all organized for a banners page.

I really appreciate all the help with expanding and growing the site.  We'll have to get this place roaring in thanks.
