Sailor Hellblazer by David Tai and Rod M.

Okay folks, due to a recent conversation with Fallacy in Soulriders IRC room, I've suddenly rekindled my desire to see Constantine in action. It reminded me of a few excellent crossovers that I ran into a few years ago at TheKeep.org. I managed to get them through Google again, but when I tried backtracking through the site, it seemed to time out. So if these links don't work, Google the names and you'll pull up the site just fine.

A great fic that uses the typical cliche of creating new senshi post series inherent in the SM fanfic scene to great effect as they cast Constantine's niece as the disturbed Sailor Nemesis. This plot element works in my eyes because I just couldn't see how you'd get the dark and moody Constantine line frollicing about in a typical Sailor Moon-esque comedy. Don't get put off by my description, because this story is fairly light, with lots of amusing scenes and twists for those who enjoyed the Hellblazer comics.

In fact, the best joke of it all is when Constantine waylays destiny and winds up with his niece's power, unfortunately undergoing a Sailor Starlight-esque transformation in the process. It's fairly well contained, explaining its in jokes humorously so even the casual reader can get the plight of poor old John.

The writing is excellent and the dialogue flows naturally. I recommend a read.
