I have three major tests this week. One is in the EARLY morning tomorrow and I only just recieved the text book (finally) a few minutes ago in the mail. ;_;

Oh god, I'm gonna play catchup all year again. ;_;

Also, the other two test? I got their books last week and the week before. Its like the more important the test the longer I had to go without a book.

Wow. Just finished the test. Totally bombed it. I doubt I managed 15%. The really sad thing? The test wasn't very hard.

So why did I bomb it?

Its the way the teacher lectures. Personally, I love his style. Basically you're expected to actually read the material before/after the lecture, while he outlines what you need to focus on in the lecture. The only problem is that without a book you miss all the important stuff.

And, yeah, ALL the boards are quiet lately.

The american workforce is stupid.  

Is it so hard a concept that if you want a raise, if you want to get promoted, bitching about what the company isn't doing for you, is not a productive way to go about it.  Especially when you only perform your job to an average level.  If management only thinks of you as a cog, you are a cog, doesn't matter how much you think of yourself.

Some kids here don't think there is enough training.  Did it ever occur that there are volumes of books available that explain what we do.  Go Read.

There was a guy at the store I recently transferred to.  He was constantly asking for a raise and a promotion, but he wasn't performing on an average level.  He wasn't even performing on a mediocre level.  Fortunately, he accumulated enough writeups to be let go two days before I would have had to deal with him.

So i did that presentation.

We got a request for significant amounts more documentation, chewed out by the local game dev ceo for our system being 'unproductive', an indication of regular 'development progress' meetings, another interim meeting to be held in a month, and the musician didn't show up.  Additionally, I have to get the others to share the presentation load.  These being people that do not like to present and instead far prefer (and are better at) simply getting their work done right.

I want to strangle the musician.  -_-

Grarh!!! I seem to be unable to log onto any IRC server whatsoever all of a sudden. Anything -other- than IRC seems to work fine, though. I was in the middle of starting Bloody Fields gaming when I got kicked off and found myself unable to relog on. I thought it was just peer, but I can't log onto any other server either! >_<
