Okay. Let's get this started. There is one set bonus and the rest is to be explained:

Set bonus:

+1 to Body, Mind and Soul. Note that this adjusts your CV and HP/EP up, recalculate accordingly. EDIT - As Ami noted, I'm probably going to give you new transformations and pens at the end of this. Feelf ree to submit ideas on the side.

Past this, you have a lot of leeway to work with. I'm going to give you some flexibility - choose five or six upgrades/powers/traits and present them to me for approval. I fully recommend and encourage that many of these increases follow the natural lines your girl has followed along; more on this below.

As for what's suitable to choose? I'm going to give you big ol' bang of leeway to go crazy with, presenting a few new traits(Some used by bad guys before or NPCs) and ideas, and also letting you submit wholly new ones as your inspiration dictates. Traits that have been banned before(Extra attacks, for example) are still considered banned unless I say otherwise.

Suggestions on each girl/GM observations:

All but maybe Rei(Since she just caught one): New Senshi Attack. This is perfectly acceptable if you have an idea here.

Usagi: Probably a few more applications of purity or her own power, which are going swimmingly. Perhaps work on Rejuv applications some more?

Ami: Ice, ice baby. Ice/water EC, visor stuff, and so on.

Makoto: Animal EC is a huge one. Probably mainly on her ECs since that's where her focus has gone.

Hotaru: Hm. Probably destruction in various forms - she has a few she can work with now. Maybe tweak a few other things she's been working on.

Rei: Fire. Heat. Burning. I have ideas on those lines and others for her.

Kotono: Space EC, odds and ends. Senshi stuff.

Suggestions:

Note: The cost brackets are my opinion on how 'pricy' each suggested trait is. Bear it in mind.

Princess Forms: This is one idea. I'm just tossing out the concept, feel free to run with this if something strikes your fancy. As this is more a new palette and form, I'm not going to elaborate levels and degrees of power within it. This will be for the player to fill in if they take their girl down this path.

Visual changes in normal and/or Senshi form: I'm leaving this one wide open as well, adn with one note - keep it reasonable and don't be stupid. Beyond that, if this tickles your fancy, go nuts. (Low cost, in theory.)

Liberated Power: (Medium cost)

This allows certain abilities to be used outside of Sailor Senshi form. Rejuv is a good example of this. Sailor Senshi attacks cannot be effected by this trait.

Level 1: One ability can be used outside of Sailor Senshi form.
Level 2: Two abilities can be used outside of Sailor Senshi form.

...and so on.

Increased Critical Hit Range: (High cost)

For one type of attack, allow critical hits on a roll of 2 or 3. GM approval is needed. Tends to be focused on one type of attack - Beck's normal sword slashes or a Moon Tiara Action. I'll openly say that game balance is a large consideration for this ability.

Level 1: One ability or attack type gains the increased critical hit range.
Level 2: Two abilities or attack types gain the increased critical hit range.

Increased Critical hit intensity: (Medium cost)

A level of this garners a +1 to the critical hits of one type of attack's intensity roll.

Level 1: +1 to the 1d6 roll of critical hit intensity for one type of attack.
Level 2: +1 to the 1d6 roll of critical hit intensity for two types of attack.

Energy absorption: (Mid/high cost)

This is the ability to absorb energy from an element a Sailor Senshi is strongly attached to. When exposed and drawing in energy from said element they gain restored EP every round. This varies somewhat on the element in question - Balder's version is far different from Makoto's in it's way, as it's dependant on how much you can get. Yes, Balder is very lucky sunlight can be absorbed.

Level 1: Varies wildly; GM discretion.

Obviously there are more you can cull if you've been paying attention. Makoto's Damage Reduction trait comes from Nior's skillset, for example. Flight is another such ability, one that Makoto possesses as well as Balder.

Finally, go nuts. I want to see you take this in character fitting and distinctive routes. By all means go for it in whatever form you see fit and think you can get me to swallow.

PS.

Since it was asked, the reason I didn't use stat points is that it would take hours of work to balance and convert everything over. The price of using tons of customized abilities. Ah well.

New Senshi Attack

Level 4 senshi attack with following traits: Cannot be used continuously (ie it uses the full EP cost on every round it is used), but can be 'charged' at no extra cost, allowing double damage after 2 rounds, triple after 3, etc... this could get really big outside of a timed combat situation. Only minimal movement is allowed while charging (no other action beyond taking one or two steps or shifting her body mass is allowed), so DCV checks are impossible. Should Usagi take more than 10 damage in one round while charging, the attack is lost - dissipating harmlessly in most cases unless an exceptionally large charge has been accumulated, in which case GM's discretion as to anything exciting happening.

Negative Energy Deflection

This allows Usagi to negate some damage from an energy based attack that has an explicitly 'dark' component. Jadeite's typical method of attack being a prime example of this, but also something like a fire using youma - normal fire or Sailor Mars' fire would be unaffected, but the evil energies that power a youma would allow Usagi to negate it. I'm not sure on the exact amount to negate - probably best for the GM to decide a reasonable figure.

Increased Appearance

A boost of one or two points to Usagi's appearance stat - she's developing a lot more 'presence' for want of a better term. She's maturing a little (14th birthday in the next few IC days!), but actual physical changes are fairly negligible. It's more just something intangible about her that draws the eye.

Increased senshi ACV

Simply a boost of 1 point to her senshi ACV, bringing her more in line with the other senshi who get similar boosts. Plus blowing an ACV check after a few rounds charging that new attack would be horrible.

Some (mass)rejuve untransformed

Allow normal rejuvenation for Usagi when she's untransformed. 'Mass' Rejuve is toned down while untransformed, so that while Usagi can still restore the same amount of EP, she can only do it to a single person through physical contact, or mend a single object.

Superior understanding for reality manipulation (ribbon play!)

This will be purely determined by IC events as it always has. But since it offers up so many options, I feel it's fair to 'spend' a point on it to pay for Usagi's future development in the area.

Anastasia

Usagi:

1. What's a name for that Sailor attack before anything else?

2. That's probably a good idea, so I'll mull over some numbers and practical bounds/limitations for the skill. I'll get back to this tomorrow.

3. Aok with me.

4. Let me see the other three posts and profiles before I comment ona ny further ACV/DCV raises. This is going to be an across the board comment for now.

5. Works for me.

6. I approve of this.

Sight of Destruction - Working with Jun and getting used to looking for those lines of vulnerability/death/destruction or whatever, plus the double success trying to locate them each time on my own. Kind of an IC development thing, but... Called shot for a damage bonus in combat, mind or soul check to use it with engineering/magic? This is pretty open to either dumbing down a bit too much, or vast overpower (like called shot = Instakill). I'd kind of like to make it the focus of my future offensive abilities if I go through with it.

Superior Reality Manipulation - Also purely IC, like Usagi-chan said, but yeah, it's a mjor focus and able to be used as such, so putting it here.

Increased ACV (I wanna hit stuff without the glaive!) - I've been on the front lines! My glaive is my sole claim to a front line ACV! Oh noes! Combat mastery level 1 is my curiousity, though a possible concern as it brings my Stabbity! ACV up to 10.

Destruction EC Boost - Pretty simple, one/couple/few levels of EC boost since I've been getting a load of mileage out of this between attack experiments and just plain heavy use.

Senshi Uniform changes: (Colors only) Gloves (white/violet --> black), choker (violet --> black, keeping white star), and the stone in her tiara (white --> violet) off the top, reflecting the nightmares she's consorted with, and even used at times (can you tell I'm proud of setting off that reality bomb?), and her own flare for destructive magic. Despite this, Hotaru's soul and heart remain her own, that of a young girl pushed into responsibilities she shouldn't carry (leotard remains white, star pendant remains white, and so does choker star).

As requested...

QuoteHolding the Lunar Staff up and to her side, Sailor Moon stands with her body slightly twisted, forehead leaning on the haft of her staff and eyes closed as she concentrates. It begins slowly, a hazy blob of silvery light coalescing into existence above the Lunar Staff... and yet, all around her, tiny pinpricks of bright light begin to appear, lazily circling around her. A few begin to stream towards the top of her staff, shooting stars of silver arcing around Usagi's body as more and more dots appear. Soon, a veritable galaxy of light surrounds the blonde, lazily spiralling around her as more and more shooting stars merge, the light at the centre becoming far more sharp and incandescent.

With a grim look, the senshi of the Moon opens her clear blue eyes, shifting her grip as she finally aims the staff at the object of her ire, tremendous power now gathered and focused to her command. Her lips move, calling out "Starlight... BREAKER!!" as the myriad pinpricks of light vanish, while the nova in the centre flares! A gigantic lance of silver light blasts forth at her will, completely overwhelming her target!

Yes. I stole the name from Nanoha. But it's awesome!

Also, I really like this thematically. Usagi's a lot like an odd reflection of Balder - he draws his power directly from the Sun, which suits his 'in your face' style; tearing as much power as he can from that one infinite source to perform all sorts of brute force feats with it. Usagi's powers on the other hand lend themselves more towards the more mysterious and magical aura of the night - taking her power from the Moon and Stars.

Also, what with teleportation and her increasing understanding of the universe, she could even say that she really is taking power from the stars - each dot of light representing a real stellar body which she's drawing just the tiniest bit of power from.

I think it's cool, anyway.

Loli go-er, Hotaru-chan:

1. Tentatively yes, as we hack and carve that out further. It's still to be determined, but we'll feel it out as we go along.

2. Fine with me.

3. As I said to Usagi, all further ACV/DCV boosters are being hedged until I get all the posts in and finalised.

4. That sounds visually interesting and a good reflection of what you've done. Thoughts, everyone, since clothes aren't my strong suit?

5. That's very fitting and fine with me. I'm thinking one level at the moment(Gameplay and balance issues, some of it has diverted into other fields as well and integrated.)

Mmm. The name and theme is fine. As for power and balance I'll mull that over tonight and post about it tomorrow.

As for your analogy, well said. It fits how both fo them were taught, doesn't it? Anyway, work on that since I like the angle and it fits. Also I can make a Nephrite joke here.

Okay, organizing my thoughts on things I might like (just putting anything that came to mind, and then guess talk with Dune with what's good, what's not, etc):

Senshi Appearance:
no real comment on changes, but the visor now ends in metalic earclips from which wings extend (sort of like angelic layer visors, I guess) and is always active (I don't have to summon it), a bit of a nod towards Mercury's winged hat from myth. Would also reflect some of the upgrades on it that allow me to do new things.

EC Part 1:
Okay, primarily I'd want something to boost my ability to use EC. Some like a bonus to soul for EC only, for example. I did this in the last game with Mako-chan, and it helped. One thought is that with my visor upgraded so that I can see lines of magic more easily, I can understand my own magic better and thus I can use a mind check as opposed to a soul check. When detransformed, since my connection to the visor isn't as strong (using only the ring), I'd use an average of mind+soul stats for checks.

EC Part 2:
Secondly, the air naturally has moisture. I'd like to be able to draw from that moisture to enhance my HP/EP reserves, or boost EC checks. It'd make the air slowly drier though, so I actually have to do this consciously to boost either, unlike with being submerged in water, where I automatically get the boost.

EC Part 3:
That trick of surrounding someone in ice to lock them in position. When do I get that as a default Ami trick, since you commented on EC tricks and being able to do those better? I also just watched Sailor Moon R movie, where Ami essentially does that with one of her senshi attacks against the first monster they face, so if not an EC ability, I'd want that as a senshi attack. I'd really just rather keep it on EC though, as that's where I've been working it.

Weapons:
I wanted either something like a high tech gun, or an elemental shield. I'm not a damage dealer character though, so I'm gravitating towards elemental shield, perhaps with a tech aspect.

I'd actually want to use a shield in specific, called Crown Shield, from an anime I've been watching. Essentially, it's a highly defensive spiked shield with a chain handle that was created with the water element, and has 4 main abilities (one of which might need to nerf it):
1) Shielding (duh).
2) Poison removal. It generates an aura that raises the poisoned person into the air and uses the water in the human body to search it for foreign substances and expel them away, usually leaving an imprint of the poison like a person's shadow against the wall behind the floating person.
3) The shield curls around the chain which lenghtens and becomes a giant spiked ball on a chain weapon.
4) The possibly nerf-able ability: In it's shield form, it can absorb one energy attack (but only the portion of the attack that hits the shield, so area attacks would only have what hits being absorbed) and redirecting the energy attack back with extra damage.

I guess that's something I'd want to talk to Dune about, and the exact specifics of DCV/ACV boosts and damage or the like, but something along those lines is what I think works.

Illusions:
Another tech/EC combo idea, I'd like to be able to losen small ice crystals in the air for like a round or two that deflect/reflect light so that it's harder to see me or others or that they see us where we're not. The visor is used to direct the crystals to do the effect that I want and check that it does that. Maybe a senshi attack instead of EC thing?

It'd primarily work as a follow-up to shabon spray probably, using the mist to help disguise things.

Coordinator:
Okay, when I created this attribute originally, I wanted something where Ami is using her brain to predict what a bad guy's going to do after fighting with them a few rounds. I haven't exactly had much use for it though. I'd want to get a more visible bonus out of this.

Mental:
Mercury -was- the messenger god. I think being able to mentally reach the others and not have to rely on the communicators (which we almost never really use since they go away when we transform usually) or something to that effect could be useful. If nothing else, to communicate plans while in a fight that we don't want the bad guy to hear. Something along of what Mako does with animals, except with just the senshi.

Being able to read general surface thoughts/intentions or if someone's lying would be interesting.

ACV/DCV:
Hrm...since others posted about it, I'll post my thoughts as well. Since I'm not as much an attack person, ACV isn't as big a thing for me, though DCV is. I think if I got the weapon mentioned above, that would be used to boost ACV and/or DCV for Ami though.

Liberated/Improved Power:
Hrm...using rejuv in human form would be useful. Also, I'd really like to improve it from level 2 and get more HP/EP out of my rejuv. Again, as with EC, being able to use mind stat for these checks would be awesome.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

1. That's fine.

2. That's not unreasonable and it's a good use of what you have already.

3. That's reasonably fine as well. Plays off the elemental trait I posted and isn't too bad. We'll work something out on that if you go with this.

4. Well, draw something up along those lines with it. Some of this would probably be best folded into a level up of your water/ice EC.

5. Let me think that over. What show is it from, by the way?

6. That could be a good Senshi attack, yes. Again, draw something up playing with that idea.

7. That's a good idea. Some way to make it better, I was thinking about that recently myself.

8. Psy-Ami! Um, let me think about that. Is there a way you can make a stronger connection to it from what you've done so far?

9. Same reply as to the other ACV/DCV issues. We'll see how it goes.

10. Agreed to all points here. These would be good to work on for Ami.

Anyway, elaborate and narrow down?

5. Beet: The Vandel Buster

8. Well, Ami did have that encounter with Jadeite in sort of a mental plane while struggling to get the portal, so we already know Ami has some way of accessing the mental plane. Portal connects reality and she did download part of it's programming as well as gain a little experience using it. Perhaps she combines the portal usage to connect minds instead of reality points?

How much I want each thing:
Senshi Appearance - minor thing, so yeah, want this.

Mind stat in place of soul stat for EC/rejuv - YES!

Moisture absorption - Sorta useful, but not as important given the boosts to stats and if I can use mind in place of soul. Rejuv ability improvement seems more useful.

Ice Prison Trick - I've been working towards this for a while, and if EC is becoming a more reliable use thing for me, I'd like to more firmly develop this as an ability.

Crown Shield - YES! I'd basically want to discuss with you exactly how to handle this weapon, since depending on how it's used it should boost DCV or ACV or whatnot.

Illusion Senshi Attack - It'd be interesting, and goes with the defensive/support role that I'm trying to push Ami to.

Coordinator - YES! I -really- want to do something with this.

Telepathy - Fun thing, but mostly an "if I can fit it in" thing, especially since the explanation is sorta strechy.

ACV/DCV - Not a big thing. As I said, this would mostly go with weapon, I think.

Liberated/Improved Power (Rejuv) - YES!

So the five that I really want are the visor appearance, rejuv boost, mind over soul, coordinator boost, and weapon. Ice prison trick and illusion attack come next, followed by a tie between telepathy and moisture trick. ACV/DCV is the least important for me.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Bean Bandit

Uniform changes.

Rather than a solid gold band and green gem, Makoto's tiara has a new look, golden, interlocking leaves in a roman stle, with the centermost leaf being an emerald cut to look like a fallen leaf.

Her gloves have shifted, still white, but armoured in scales, like dragon skin, and still edged in green.

The ribbing on Makoto's shoulders and above her skirt has changed to green, though shot through with silvery, lightning themed embroidery, and transparent shoulderguards have grown from them (Like Canon Makoto's Super form.)

Powerups

Electrical EC boost - I want to do more funky things with electricty, like Magnetize things from a distance, Fly up into the clouds and start storms, etc.

Animal EC boost - I want to be able to talk to the animals, and get useful responses. >_>

New Senshi Attack - I have to say...I don't know what should go here. I had that one Idea, and there are probably a dozen things I could use, but I have nothing in mind.

Agility Boost/DCV Boost - Makoto is a skilled fighter, and one of the fastest senshi. That she's so pathetic at dodging makes very little sense, other than the whims of evil Dice goddesses.

Sword tricks - Time to further bond the sword to Makoto. I'd like to 1) Be able to summon it from anywhere, and 2) Give it another attack, though lesser than the Thunderclap slash.

Attack Examples - Dragon Claw: The Sword of Thunderclaps is Charged by Makoto and hurled at an opponent with all her strength. But look! He dodged, and the sword sailed right past him! Oh Noes! But the mighty blad e transcribes a powerful arc, and and begins to return to it's master...And lops off the baddie's head on the return to Makoto's hand. Or, Y'know, something.

Jupiter Lance: The name is shamelessly Viking, but I can't help myself. >_> An enemy out of range is frustrating Makoto. Flipping the sword's grip in her hand, a burst of power transmutes the sword into a Lightning bolt, which is flung at her opponent...and upon impact, the sword returns to it's natural form...embedded in her opponent's chest. (Note: I only want this one in combination with the summoning power. It's far too easy to lose my sword, otherwise. >_>)

Undecided - Help. ;-; I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point...

I love the games I've played here.

Jumping on the 'my uniform isn't cool enough!' bandwagon!

This is pretty heavily based on her Super outfit from S, but I think that's her coolest one, so there.

Her skirt is changed to white, except with a double trim of gold and then blue at the base. The bow behind her skirt changes from red to a pale lavender, and is now made of a thin gauzy material that extends further and trails behind her more. Likewise her shoulders now have a gauzy covering that extends a bit further than before over her arms, although the main body of the fuku is further back - meaning her shoulders have more material over them, but are also more visible.

And atop her head, she gets six little rabbit-ear type decorations which look really cute!

Anastasia

Makoto:

1. Okay. Sounds good overall.

2. Electrical EC boost is fine. This isn't a surprise.

3. Nor is this one. This is the slam dunk of the set and I'm good with it.

4. Okay. Well brew something up and get back to me. I threw out some ideas in the OOC room last night, and I can probably give you more if you want.

5. See, if you'd just have sex with Misukibot and Reibot when they wanted, you-er. Ahem. Mmm.  What's your agility and what are you looking to raise it up to?

6. Mmm. That's fine, cook up a few more details there on the latter, obviously.

EDIT - Oopps. I skipped the description text right under. In that case, just decide on something and let me know when you're good there.

---

Okay. Hm. Ideas?

Raise defensive endurance capacities. Makoto trained with Nior and knows how to take a few good hits. Further, she has a high buffer of HP to compliment that. So consider playing those traits up. A level of Damn Healthy? Increasing your Reduced Damage trait? Work on your sword deflection skill?

Raise EP. This is an easy one, I know you've mentioned EP issues on and off. It can't hurt to get more, even if you can't compete with that darn Hotarubattery.

Increase damage capacity. That's the other side of Nior's style, and it suits Makoto's style as well; endure anything thrown at you and go for one decisive blow. Maybe a level of massive damage or critical range/intensity up?
