Seraya nodded with a smile, "When she was younger...Asrana was a fairly carefree child. Until she was ten her joys lay in training and playing with her cousins. She was a quick learner...picked up fighting almost naturally. She especially liked the family forest...a small wood that was kept wild on the citadel grounds. She knew that wood better than I did... Such a happy child for so many years..."

Kei seemed to slide weightlessly on the ground as he stepped out of the kick's trajectory and reached his hand out to grab a hold of Mike's leg as it was still in the air.  Dropping down to the ground, he spun to execute a low sweep on Mike's remaining leg, then immediately follow up with a knee strike to hit him in the back if he fell.

"It's none of your business, Mike," he almost growled, his voice cold as ice. "How I act is my business and mine alone."
