[18:46] <Kotono> One day in Serrandale our story begins...the party is waking up for the day in a pair of connected inn rooms in Serrandale. The city is bright with the morning bustle, full of people coming to and fro, from shops to the river barges and to the castle. It's a cloudy day, not a speck of sunshine to be seen. It casts a gray pall over everything, as the steady knock on the door announces a guest.
[18:49] * AutumnCrow of course had her own room, forcing the three boys to share. She didn't object to travelling with them or anything, but she hardly knew them well enough to share a room with them. Having finished getting herself ready by now, she steps over to the door separating the rooms and knocks lightly, "I'm up and ready, if one of you wants to get that."
[18:50] <Santos> "It's open!" Santos hollers with a yawn and a stretch. He scratches the back of his neck, ruffling his short wild hair up, in fact NOT wanting to do anything of the sort like standing up and getting the door. He was muscle, sure, but not anybody's servant.
[18:51] <Janus> "Ngh, fine..." Janus mutters, rolling out and standing up as he moves toward the door - before pausing upon hearing Santos call out. "You didn't lock it? Dude..."
[18:52] <Santos> "What?" the ninja asks back, looking nonplussed. "Anybody stupid enough to try and kill us in our sleep obviously wouldn't need any Gil they might be carrying."

[18:52] <Kotono> The door opens. The man that shuffles in wears striped blue and black pants, flowing cloth things and a matching shirt. A pointy, tall cap sits atop his head, casting his face into shadow. Pale golden eyes stare out from them, aglow with magical light.
[18:52] <Kotono> He holds up a bit of paper, "You are..." he looks about, settling onto Santos, "You're..." Looking down at the paper again, "Aaaah! I'm not here to kill you! I'm here to hire you!"
[18:53] <Morrie> "Well, that's a relief," he calls out from the back of the room, near one of the other windows.
[18:53] <Santos> "Of course YOU aren't here to kill us. I've never met an assassin polite enough to knock, you know."
[18:54] <Janus> "Hire us for what, fellow practitioner?" Janus... strains out after a moment, face skeptical.
[18:54] <AutumnCrow> Once she heard the voice of the guest, Crow steps into the adjoining room, putting the last pin in her hair as she entered, "Ignore him, please. How can we help you, Mr...?"
[18:54] <Santos> A short pause quickly follows with a nod. "yeah, what's the job?"

[18:56] <Kotono> Putting the paper away and bobbing his head, which somehow keeps his hat from falling off, "I hear you're in the business of dealing with monsters, and I need hel-oh! Mr. Magius. Ebenezer Magius."
[18:56] <Kotono> Clearing his throat after, "Right to the point, aren't you? I've been studying old lore in Galimond, and I recently came on a map that suggests there's a undiscovered ruin in one of the western caves. Unfortunately, my talents are in research and not practical magic, so I'm ill-suited to deal with the inevitable monster attacks."
[18:57] * Janus shares a sidelong glance with Morrie, before nodding. "You want someone to simply confirm its existence? Or... do extra?"
[18:57] <Kotono> "Oh no. I want you to come with me and protect me. I'm interested in buying your services as escorts." he says, "200 gil and whatever you find on any monsters you defeat."

[18:59] <Morrie> "I have no objections." He pushes himself off the window, but looks to the others in case any of them were against such an ordeal.
[18:59] <Janus> "Aah." Janus quietly nods, glancing to the other three before consenting as well. "Santos, ... ah. Crow? Correct?"
[19:01] <Santos> "Are you the type that screams and cowers in one spot, or the type that runs around with no purpose and makes things a pain?" Santos asks, rubbing a finger into an ear as he shuts an eye, twirling the finger and licking his lip before drawing the finger out. "I'll do the job either way, but some extra hazard pay if you're the second would be nice, right?"
[19:01] <Kotono> "Oh no, I don't fight. I stay back and defend myself!" Shaking his head quickly, "Why would I run around on a battlefield? That sounds like a fine way to die."
[19:02] <AutumnCrow> Crow nods towards Janus, then half smirks, "Good. I've heard one too many stories about 'escort missions'. Clueless alchemists walking into dens of snakes and such."
[19:03] <Janus> "Or the ones that cower in a corner while a mouse chews them to death."
[19:03] <Janus> "Please do not do either so I can heal you."
[19:04] <AutumnCrow> "So, as we seem to be in agreement, where is this supposed ruin, Mr. Magius?"
[19:05] <Janus> "A western cave..." Janus rubs his head. "Any one in particular?"
[19:05] <Kotono> "I don't intend to die," Ebenezer says, "It's to the north of the cave that leads to Sparrow's Tomb. If we're agreed, I'm ready to leave soon."

[19:06] <Santos> "Any idea the type of monsters?"
[19:07] <Janus> "So the one basically due west of here... sure. Might get me enough scratch to get back in with the Healer's Guild."
[19:08] * AutumnCrow snaps one of her fans out in a single swift motion...then begins lazily fanning herself with it, "Nothing we can't handle, I'm sure."
[19:08] <Kotono> "Well, there's Imps and Wolves around there," he says, "I've heard stories about a crazy horse...it's called the Mad Pony. I've heard it's wiped out entire groups! There's also giant spiders." He says after a moment's thought, taking out another sheet of paper, "Oh, and watch out for gray imps. They're usually called goblin guards or chieftains by us, but they're technically just a racial  variant."
[19:09] <Santos> "No duh, but I have enough gil on me that I want to figure out if I should get...giant spiders eh? Yeah, definitely picking up some Antidote before we take off."
[19:09] <AutumnCrow> "Imps, wolves, spiders, and watch out for ponies and grimps," Crow nods, "got it."
[19:09] <Morrie> "Hm... That doesn't sound too dangerous, but let's not be overconfident regardless."
[19:10] * Janus nods slightly. "So long as we take it slowly, we should be fine. More antidotes can't hurt, natch."
[19:10] <Kotono> "Right right," He nods, "When will you be ready?"
[19:10] <Santos> "You're a man after my own heart, Janus," Santos says drily, as he pats the man in the back. "Gimme a few and I'll pop back in with my purchase, and all ready to go."
[19:11] <AutumnCrow> "I have one antidote...but yes, another wouldn't hurt. Anyone recall how much they are?"
[19:12] <Janus> "Meet at the West Gate in thirty? I've got something to check in with. 50 Gil, by the by." Janus recites, before nodding slightly.
[19:12] * AutumnCrow frowns, "I...have 45. Mind spotting me 5 to get a second one?"
[19:13] * Janus tosses her five gil lazily. "Just pay me back later."

[19:16] <Kotono> Thus you head out! Serrendale's west gate is a stone arch that reaches high, connecting to the outer walls. Dirt roads lead on further to open, rocky fields. As you head out, Ebenezer takes towards the back of the group. He points along, "This way, this way," he says, the mountains on the horizon reaching high enough to seem to scrape at the sky. "Say, are any of you interested in the theory of Fira and Greater Heat Transference? I've been working on a paper about it."
[19:18] <Santos> "That the sort of thing that leads to fire elemental weapons?" Santos asks with just a smidge of interest as he twirls his weapons at his side, basically just looking like he's goofing off, even as he observes anything over in the horizon.
[19:19] <Janus> "I'm not very well versed in the topic, but you could probably teach me about it as we go." Janus admits. "I perfected the basic Aero spell without much issue, but ... I suspect that's not too similar here."
[19:21] * AutumnCrow kept her sigh internal at the thought of the incoming mage talk, but it was certainly there.
[19:21] <Kotono> "Oh no, not at all. You see, you take the basic first syllable of Fira and you have to realize that by interconnecting the texts of Fi and Ra that you're creating a new tapestry, but only if you accept that Greater Heat Transference must innately be a magical construct of the fourth layer..." Amid a storm of this the party goes on, the cloudy sky breaking up enough to allow some sunlight down.
[19:21] <Janus> "This being said we should probably hang back and let the, ah, other members take the vanguard?" Janus follows up with at a slight glance at the others.

[19:21] <Kotono> As you travel along... OOC: Incoming PM.
[19:23] <Morrie> "...Everyone, stop!" It was sudden, but his ears perk up and he looks around them quickly. "Something is coming, get prepared!"
[19:24] * Santos stops twirling his tonfa, and searches for what Morrie senses, trying to pinpoint the source of trouble before it reaches them.
[19:25] * AutumnCrow scans the area, ready to quickly get between whatever it was and her squishier companions, alongside her fellow front-liner, "Santos, I'll follow your lead."
[19:25] * Janus steps ahead of Magius, staff suddenly readied. "Hold that thought. We've got some skulls to smash."
[19:26] <Kotono> At this warning, the party sees the grasses ahead part! In close range are four wolves! Three are a brownish color, snarling and forming a V in front of the fourth. The fourth is bigger and a blue-gray color, staring daggers at the party! The wolf meets each of your eyes in turn before howling aloud, the other three wolves pouncing forward at the party!

[19:26] <Kotono> OOC: No ambush thanks to Geomancer. Party goes first.
[19:27] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 1 ?? Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf ??'
[19:27] <Kotono> OOC: Open Santos.
[19:27] <Kotono> OOC: They're all in close range.

[19:28] <Kotono> "Aaaah!" Ebenezer yelps, quickly taking a few steps back! In his hands is a rod, held up defensively! He keeps his eyes on the wolves, on the defense!
[19:30] <Santos> "Hey Fido...heel!" Santos barks out, as he slams his weapons around the snout of one of the closer wolves.
[19:30] <Santos> roll 2d6+2 accuracy
[19:30] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 accuracy and gets 8." [2d6=3, 3]
[19:30] <Kotono> OOC: Hit. Damage? Remember it's the same roll.
[19:30] <Santos> OOC: 16 damage
[19:32] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 1 13 Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf ??'

[19:33] <Kotono> Santos is swift on the attack, quickly stepping in and slicing into the first wolf! He lands a solid blow on it, cutting into the furry menace! It slinks back slightly, snarling at the agile ninja! Drool comes from its mouth as it snaps back at him! OOC: Crow, go.
[19:33] * AutumnCrow gracefully moves in to strike the same wolf, fan snapping out from the edge of her range to slash a line across the enemy!
[19:33] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+2 accuracy, damage is +6
[19:33] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+2 accuracy, damage is +6 and gets 7." [2d6=4, 1]
[19:33] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 1 23 Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf ??'

[19:35] <Kotono> That quick slash scores a second hit, the enemy reeling before he can even attack! "That's it!" Ebenezer cries, "Right in the trachea! Or the jugular!" OOC: Morrie.
[19:35] <Janus> "That's their face." Janus corrects him drily.
[19:37] <Morrie> "All right... Here we go." He takes a breath and holds a hand out, invoking the power of the grassy plains they were on into a Geotrance directed at the injured wolf!
[19:37] <Morrie> roll 2d6+2 accuracy AND damage
[19:37] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+2 accuracy AND damage and gets 12." [2d6=5, 5]
[19:38] <Morrie> OOC: 22 damage, I believe.
[19:38] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf ??'

[19:38] <Kotono> roll 2#1d100
[19:38] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2#1d100 and gets 57." [2#1d100 = 44, 13]

[19:39] <Kotono> Cutting blades of wind come flying, screaming at the wolf! Already wounded, he is cut up! The wolf struggles before collapsing over and down, defeated! The other two wolves snarl, as suddenly the big gray wolf's gaze focuses on Morrie! OOC: Janus.
[19:41] <Janus> Janus glances at the two wolves, then at the big one as his staff begins flashing green. "Can't let you do that, grey wolf..." As the staff's runes shine, a column of wind slams down on the grey wolf!
[19:42] <Janus> roll 2d6+(8*4)
[19:42] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+(8*4) and gets 42." [2d6=6, 4]
[19:42] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf 39'

[19:43] <Kotono> The blast of pure air and tornados surrounds the gray wolf! It's pummeled all over, caught up in the tornado and tossed about! It lands on its side, dizzy and swaying as it rises! But it does rise - and now Janus has its attention, as it sits on its haunches and howls! Chills come over the party as...OOC: It's trying to status you. This requires an opposed finesse roll. Roll finesse, Janus.
[19:44] <Janus> roll 2d6+3 kay.
[19:44] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+3 kay. and gets 15." [2d6=6, 6]
[19:44] <Kotono> roll 2d6+2 well, that's a wash
[19:44] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+2 well, that's a wash and gets 6." [2d6=3, 1]

[19:44] <Kotono> But nothing happens! The howl sputters out, the wind leaving the wolf disoriented and dazed! Meanwhile the other two wolves pounce forward, going right for Autumn Crow!
[19:45] <AutumnCrow> OOC: AVD 7
[19:45] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4 same damage if it hits
[19:45] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4 same damage if it hits
[19:45] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 same damage if it hits and gets 11." [2d6=5, 2]
[19:45] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 same damage if it hits and gets 11." [2d6=6, 1]
[19:45] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 2 ?? Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf 39'

[19:45] <AutumnCrow> OOC: Counterattack the first one
[19:45] <Kotono> OOC: Go for it.
[19:45] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+2 counterattack damage is +6
[19:45] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+2 counterattack damage is +6 and gets 7." [2d6=1, 4]
[19:46] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 2 10 Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf 39'

[19:47] <Kotono> The blows both land, Autumn Crow getting chomps taken out of her! Despite the pain she's still up, as she fans one back across the nose! It yelps and whimpers from the blow! OOC: Good guys are up. Go Santos.
[19:47] <Janus> "I'll hold the grey wolf. You three focus on these two." Janus comments. "Help me out when you're done.
[19:47] <Kotono> "Careful! Use a potion if you need it!" Ebenezer calls back, "Using a potion within five minutes of an injury reduces infection chances greatly!"
[19:50] * Santos tries to split the wolves' attention as he focuses on the uninjured wolf. The gray wolf looks injured enough that even Ebenezer could probably take it down if he felt like getting involved. Of course, as their client, he probably won't, but that's just fine with the ninja, as he grins and steps next to Autumn's side, blocking his target's view of the monk before a pair of tonfa slam like a wolf's bite on its face, slamming from an upwards and downward direction.
[19:50] <Santos> roll 2d6+2 accuracy
[19:50] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 accuracy and gets 5." [2d6=1, 2]
[19:50] <Santos> roll d6 to improve the 1
[19:50] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls d6 to improve the 1 and gets 1." [d6=1]
[19:50] <Santos> OOC: boo Hatbot. boo

[19:51] <Kotono> Santos clubs in fast and hard, but hits only air! The wolf is a little too fast, dodging the tonfa blows! OOC: Hatebot. Crow.
[19:52] <AutumnCrow> With a twirl of her fan, Crow slides into a different stance before snapping her weapon down to strike the wolf she had countered...twisting it into a sideways slice at the last second to catch it off guard! (OOC: Instant action: Boost. ACC and AVD +1 for rest of battle.)
[19:52] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+3 damage is +6
[19:52] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+3 damage is +6 and gets 14." [2d6=6, 5]
[19:53] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 2 21 Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf 39'

[19:53] <Kotono> Direct hit! The wolf is slashed across the shoulder, flesh and blood sliced like an apple! It whimpers again, sounding piteous as Autumn Crow punishes it! OOC: Ow. Morrie.
[19:54] <Kotono> "Oh! Oh! I remember now!" Ebenezer calls, "The Gray Wolves are known for their howls, which can distort and confuse you! Watch out!" he calls!
[19:56] <Morrie> "Hm..." After some thought, he just decides to repeat his last move -- calling on the forces of the plains yet again, he holds a hand out towards the second wolf!
[19:56] <Morrie> roll 2d6+2 accuracy AND damage
[19:56] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+2 accuracy AND damage and gets 8." [2d6=3, 3]
[19:57] <Kotono> OOC: Hit.
[19:57] <Morrie> OOC: 18.
[19:58] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 3 ?? Gray Wolf 39'

[19:58] <Kotono> roll 2#1d100
[19:58] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2#1d100 and gets 173." [2#1d100 = 96, 77]

[19:58] <Kotono> Another direct, windy hit sends the wolf reeling back and down! It whimpers once more before falling, winds cutting it up double time! OOC: Janus.
[19:58] <Kotono> "That's it! Just like that!" Ebenezer calls, "You're winning!"
[20:00] <Janus> As the second wolf falls, Janus breathes a sigh of relief, before advancing on the wolf and pulling his fist back... before glancing at the staff in his hand in confusion. Sighing, he instead focuses, before shooting a small beam of energy at the wolf from the tip of the staff!
[20:00] <Janus> roll 2d6+1 damage +8
[20:00] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+1 damage +8 and gets 11." [2d6=6, 4]
[20:01] <Janus> OOC: 18 damage? An- oh. Well, that works.
[20:01] <Kotono> OOC: That is magic damage, right?
[20:01] <Janus> Yes, hits M.ARM
[20:02] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Wolf 3 0 Gray Wolf 55'

[20:02] <Kotono> Another beam goes flying, hitting the gray wolf in the face! It suddenly snaps back, before pouncing right at Janus!
[20:03] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4 AVD and ARM, Janus?
[20:03] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 AVD and ARM, Janus? and gets 8." [2d6=1, 3]
[20:03] <Janus> AVD 5 so hit, ARM 2.
[20:03] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 7/22 | Wolf 3 0 Gray Wolf 55'

[20:04] <Kotono> Janus suddenly has a big chunk of his stomach all be-bitten and bloodied! The wolf is up close, having sent Janus stumbling back as his bloodied maw is twisted in a canine snarl! Meanwhile the surviving wolf turns and begins to howl and howl! OOC: Good guys are up. Santos, go.
[20:05] * Santos focuses on the wolf in front of him, and tries to connect this time with his attacks!
[20:05] <Santos> roll 2d6+2
[20:05] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 and gets 8." [2d6=2, 4]
[20:05] <Santos> roll d6 to reroll 2
[20:05] <Kotono> OOC: Hit. Damages?
[20:05] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls d6 to reroll 2 and gets 3." [d6=3]
[20:05] <Santos> OOC: 17
[20:05] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 7/22 | Wolf 3 14 Gray Wolf 55'

[20:06] <Kotono> The wolf gets tonfa-beatings right in the side, but keeps on howling! It makes your hairs rise, as the grasses around you begin to rustle! OOC: Crow.
[20:07] * Morrie looks at the state of the others with a small frown. "I will do what I can to take care of the injuries."
[20:07] * AutumnCrow swaps stances again, letting her fan drop back into it's place in her belt sash, and snapping out at the howling wolf with her scarf, an elegant whip-like motion~ (OOC: Using Formless Strikes to hit M.ARM, and swapping weapon)
[20:08] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+3 +6 to damage. Hits M.ARM
[20:08] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+3 +6 to damage. Hits M.ARM and gets 12." [2d6=6, 3]
[20:08] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 15/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 7/22 | Wolf 3 30 Gray Wolf 55'

[20:09] <Kotono> The formless, whipping blow of the sash catches the wolf right in the chest! It staggers like its bigger kin, looking dazed and nipping at the air instead of your hides! OOC: Ow. Okay, Morrie.
[20:10] <Janus> "Stop him before he draws too much attention. I'll pull back here." Janus shakes his head to Morrie.
[20:10] <Janus> "Or finish the grey wolf. Whichever." he adds after a moment of thought.
[20:11] <Morrie> He takes a breath and looks up at the sky, swinging an arm around towards his allies to summon the power of the plains to heal them!
[20:11] <Morrie> roll 2d6+3 Healing
[20:11] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+3 Healing and gets 9." [2d6=5, 1]
[20:11] <Kotono> OOC: Okay, amount healed?
[20:12] <Morrie> OOC: 9.
[20:12] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 24/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 16/22 | Wolf 3 30 Gray Wolf 55'

[20:12] <Kotono> Light comes down from the sun, the clouds above breaking! The sunlight heals the wounds of the party, reinvigorating Janus and Crow! OOC: Janus.
[20:12] <Janus> "...Right, you can catch all of us. Never mind, and thank you." Janus nods gratefully before aiming another beam of energy at the gray wolf's muzzle!
[20:13] <Janus> roll 2d6+1 damage +8
[20:13] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+1 damage +8 and gets 8." [2d6=1, 6]
[20:13] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 24/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 16/22 | Wolf 3 30 Gray Wolf 71'

[20:13] <Kotono> But the wolf takes it in the face, but going down! Instead it snap-snarls and continues his bloodied, frenzied assault on Janus, staring him right in the eyes as he goes for him!
[20:13] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[20:13] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 15." [2d6=5, 6]
[20:14] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 24/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 0/22 | Wolf 3 30 Gray Wolf 71'

[20:15] <Kotono> Janus gets rammed and bit right in the face! OW! Consciousness flees him as the assault is too much, leaving him splayed out cold! The other wolf, badly wounded but up, tries to force it by chomping - this time at Santos! OOC: Ow, rotten luck with the variance there.
[20:15] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[20:15] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 11." [2d6=2, 5]
[20:15] <Santos> OOC: hit
[20:16] <Kotono> OOC: ARM?

[20:16] <Santos> OOC: 4. I'll use counterattack after his chomp.
[20:17] <Kotono> OOC: Go for it.
[20:18] * Santos grunts as the wolf draws blood, and instead of letting the pain distract him, he counters with a blunt trauma to its primitive brain, slamming his weapon into the side of its head where he's already beaten at it before.
[20:18] <Santos> roll 2d6+2
[20:18] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 and gets 8." [2d6=2, 4]
[20:18] <Santos> roll d6 reroll the 2

[20:18] <Kotono> With a direct clubbing, the wolf is brained and goes down! Only the gray wolf remains! OOC: Okay, go Santos.
[20:19] * Santos moves towards the gray wolf and repeats his attack on the remaining animal!

[20:21] <Kotono> With a final blow upside the head, the biggest wolf of them all goes down! It's down and out, victory belonging to the party! OOC: Loot post for things found on them, bestiary post for the baddies. Free act.
[20:22] * Janus grunts and rolls onto his back, before sitting up. "'fraid I'm gonna have to ask you to help out a bit further before I can get my mojo going, Morrie..."
[20:23] <Kotono> Clapping. Ebenezer claps, "Well done! You beat them!" He comes up, nudging Janus with a toe. "I have a recipe for a soothing mint tea that may help you feel a little better."
[20:24] <Janus> "Once we camp. Shouldn't need to do that yet." Janus nods politely.
[20:24] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 7/18 Crow: 24/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 1/22 | Gray Wolf 71'
[20:24] <Morrie> "Just hold still, I think I can muster something."

[20:24] <Morrie> OOC: Can I use Sunbath even out of combat?
[20:26] <Janus> OOC: I.... I can't see why not?
[20:27] <Kotono> OOC: I don't see why not, so we'll go with that for now and ignore the screams of agony from potion sellers. I'll read it more after session.
[20:28] <Janus> OOC: Potions are kinda shitty as written for L1 characters but are pretty damn nice later, I suspect.
[20:28] <Kotono> OOC: Anyway, with that you can heal them up and I'll roll with that for the session.
[20:29] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | '

[20:31] * Janus stretches after a few more Sunlights, before nodding to Morrie gratefully. "Alright, I'm not gonna be able to easily pull off another column of wind, but that wolf was intimidating enough to do it. We'll need to proceed with that in mind."
[20:32] * AutumnCrow pokes at some gil the monsters dropped, "I never quite understood just where they keep this. Or...why. Mysteries of the universe, I suppose."
[20:32] <Morrie> "I believe it's from people they've eaten," the geomancer flatly states.
[20:33] <AutumnCrow> "Then you'd think they'd have weapons, armor, or something else more useful. Unless all they've had to eat are helpless paupers."
[20:33] <Morrie> "I think that's the idea."
[20:34] * Janus stretches before nodding to everyone else. "Onward, then?"

[20:35] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[20:35] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d100 and gets 63." [1d100=63]
[20:35] <Kotono> roll 1d100
[20:35] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 1d100 and gets 52." [1d100=52]

[20:36] <Kotono> The party proceeds on for several hours. Noon passes as the mountains loom larger and larger. Ahead the plains give way to rolling hills and then the mountains proper. Just before the hills, Ebenezer stops. He takes out an old scroll, peering at it, "If I read this right..." he murmurs, before pointing to the northwest, "This way," he announces. "We're making good time! No trouble after that small wolf pack. Did you know that lore from the old kingdoms suggest there were once wolf packs much bigger than that?"
[20:37] <AutumnCrow> "I suppose they can get as large as the biggest wolf can control, really." Crow shrugs, nonplussed at ancient giant wolf packs.
[20:38] <Janus> "Bigger in size or number? And I suspect after people started wearing wolf hats, the populations decreased." Janus commented drily.
[20:41] <Kotono> "Number," As you proceed into the hills, the gentle up and down of everything becomes slowly rougher.  As you go on...OOC: Would everyone make an awareness check? Geomancers get a +2 bonus to this.
[20:41] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+1 awareness is not Crow's best trait
[20:41] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+1 awareness is not Crow's best trait and gets 7." [2d6=3, 3]
[20:42] <Santos> roll 2d6+3 awareness
[20:42] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+3 awareness and gets 10." [2d6=1, 6]
[20:42] <Janus> roll 2d6+1 kay o kay
[20:42] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+1 kay o kay and gets 6." [2d6=4, 1]
[20:43] <Morrie> roll 2d6+6 awareness
[20:43] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+6 awareness and gets 9." [2d6=1, 2]

[20:44] <Kotono> As you travel along, Santos and Morrie happen to catch sight of something. The side of the hill to your right isn't right. A keen eye can discern that it looks like colored cloth and strategically placed rocks instead of a hill face for a good chunk of it.
[20:44] <Morrie> "Ah..." He quirks an eyebrow and looks around, as if trying to make sure what he thinks might look wrong actually looks wrong.
[20:45] <Kotono> It definitely looks wrong on a second look. It's reasonably well disguised and subtle, but it's distinctly a false hill side. As if something was being hidden.
[20:46] <Santos> "You spotted that too?" Santos asks quietly as he moves closer to Morrie, gesturing towards the hill subtly.
[20:46] * Morrie nods. "I think we ought to investigate over there." He gestures towards the cloth and rocks.
[20:46] * AutumnCrow slows her walk as Santos falls behind her, "Hmm? Is something the matter?"
[20:47] <Janus> "So what you're saying is... Blizza and Fi can't be combined despite both being linkable to -Ra because... the fundamental connecti-" Janus stops midsentence and holds his hand up for Magius, following their eyes. "In... vestigate?"
[20:48] <Kotono> Ebenezer nods, "More or less, but y-hm?" he stops and turns, "Is something the matter?" he echoes Crow.
[20:49] <Santos> "Maybe..." Santos comments, tapping his chin, before starting to move towards the obviously unnatural hill, to examine it closer.
[20:49] * Janus glances to Ebenezer and shrugs.
[20:50] <Kotono> Coming closer, it's possible to discern it looks like stout, painted canvas cloth held in place by cunningly placed rocks. It's a gap about 20ft by 10ft wide, a rough rectangle on the side of the hill.
[20:50] <Santos> roll 2d6+3 stealth because why not. silent ninja steps!
[20:50] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+3 stealth because why not. silent ninja steps! and gets 14." [2d6=5, 6]
[20:50] <Kotono> Santos has silent steps. Quite silent.
[20:50] <Morrie> "You can't see it?" He looks at the other three but allows Santos to investigate.
[20:51] <Santos> Unable to help himself, after looking at the cloth for a few seconds, he shrugs and unveils the hidden object for all to see! "And behind canvas number one, we find...!"
[20:51] <Kotono> The cloth is quite well secured by the rocks. Just pulling at it doesn't suffice - the rocks don't budge.
[20:52] <Santos> "...Pretty sturdy and well-held cloth," Santos says with a dry and disappointed look. "Well, at least tell me you could tell I was grabbing something that shouldn't be on rocks?" he calls out to the others.
[20:52] * Janus blinks. "Huh. It's fabric! Need a hand?"
[20:52] <Santos> "If you'd like."
[20:53] * AutumnCrow makes her way over, "This certainly seems out of place. Maybe...it's an entrance to something? Let's look around some more."

[20:54] <Morrie> "Do you have any input on this?" He looks at their client, Ebenezer.
[20:54] <Kotono> "Hmm..." Going around and poking at the cloth with his stick...
[20:54] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[20:54] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 8." [2d6=1, 3]
[20:55] <Kotono> "I deduce...that I'm not sure what it is," he announces, "It's not normal for the ruins to use cloth like this, so if it is a ruin, this has been added on. Maybe it's hiding some sort of animal or monster lair, or a cave entrance?"
[20:56] <Janus> "Interested in investigation? You're the client here." Janus notes, walking over to one of the rocks and putting a foot on it.
[20:56] <Morrie> "I don't think there are any beasts around that are smart enough to hide something like this... My guess would be this is man-made."
[20:58] <Kotono> "Of course! It could be a new ruin!" Ebenezer says! The rock feels fairly sturdy and strong, at least to the foot.
[20:58] <Janus> "Gotcha. We're probably gonna want two to a rock here unless you guys want me treating sprained backs." Janus nods.
[20:59] <Santos> "You're the boss, then," Santos says cheerfully, as he tries to rip the cloth apart from the rock on his own first, just out of stubborn pride.
[20:59] <Santos> roll 2d6+3 force
[20:59] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+3 force and gets 9." [2d6=1, 5]
[21:00] <Kotono> OOC: Roll force, the rest of you?
[21:01] * AutumnCrow sighs and starts helping Santos move rocks, as soon as he's done being stubborn.
[21:01] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+3 force
[21:01] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+3 force and gets 12." [2d6=4, 5]
[21:01] <Morrie> roll 2d6+3 force
[21:01] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+3 force and gets 11." [2d6=2, 6]
[21:01] <Janus> roll 2d6+3 use the force, Janus
[21:01] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+3 use the force, Janus and gets 10." [2d6=2, 5]

[21:01] <Kotono> The rocks are stunningly heavy! Much heavier than normal rock, but the party is juuuust strong enough to move them. Just barely. After moving a few, the cloth sags down and pools inward. Within you can see a cave entrance, leading within into darkness.
[21:03] <AutumnCrow> "Hmm." Crow peers into the cave, "Thought so. Shall we?"
[21:05] <Morrie> "I believe this bears investigating."
[21:06] * Janus nods before holding up his staff and letting a soft light emanate from the tip. "This should be good enough, I think?"
[21:07] <Santos> "As long as it doesn't start sputtering, think that'll do just fine."
[21:07] <Kotono> Thus the party goes inside. The cave passage goes on a bit and around a bend, down a fairly long hall that slopes sharply down. About halfway down you notice two things - first of all, there's an old, metal treasure box sitting against the side wall. The other is that the wall becomes smooth, un-rusted gray metal as you proceed down, replacing the natural earth. At this Ebenezer perks up, "Ooooh! Ooooh! My goodness! It IS another ruin!"
[21:08] <Janus> "Huh. Keep an eye out for writing or other identifying markers, then?" Janus asks.
[21:08] * AutumnCrow is more interested in the treasure chest, cheerfully going over to pry it open!

[21:10] <Santos> roll 2d6+2 lore-general (any news about recent bandit waves or something like that?)
[21:10] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 lore-general (any news about recent bandit waves or something like that?) and gets 9." [2d6=6, 1]
[21:10] <Kotono> Santos hasn't heard any news about that or anything.

[21:10] <Janus> It's only when Crow opens the chest that he even notices it, as his own eyes widen. "Hey, nice!"
[21:11] <Santos> "Someone's got to have been here recently, given the entrance. Question is what's here that's worth trying to hide..." Santos ponders out loud as he looks around the room, leaving the chest for the others to examine.
[21:11] <Kotono> The chest is easy to open. It isn't locked. Inside is but one thing - a scrap of old, dusty paper. You can see writing on it. It reads, "Only death lies ahead. Run from the door that does not open."
[21:11] <AutumnCrow> "Oh. No treasure, just a warning." Crow pulls out the paper and passes it to the others.
[21:12] <AutumnCrow> "Run from the door that does not open," Crow considers. "If the door won't open, how can what's behind it be a threat?"
[21:12] * Janus takes the warning, glancing over it slightly before passing it on to Morrie. "Ominous. And concerning. Maybe it crushes you against the wall, guts flying everywhere?"

[21:12] <Kotono> The passage continues onward from this - Santos can go ahead if he likes.
[21:13] <Santos> "I'm going to try and look a bit ahead," Santos warns the others before he starts going into the passage, carefully looking for gaps in the floor or sides that might signal traps, and trying to make sure Janus' light keeps enough illuminated as he progresses.
[21:14] * Janus sighs, before following Santos slowly, "Guess we're investigating. At the least, around the chest should be safe or else it would have been affected by the trap or monster or whatever."
[21:14] <Kotono> Going ahead, Santos sees that the passage continues on just a little farther. Here is a dead end wall - and instead of metal the end is stone. Set into the door is a pristine, un-aged wooden door. It looks like it was put in place just yesterday, not a single hint of decay or ruin on it. Strange, otherworldly runes are carved onto it.
[21:15] <Kotono> "How curious," Ebenezer adds as he follows along, taking up the rear. "There must be quite the discovery waiting ahead...or it really is something dangerous and best allowed to rest. But that's hardly in the spirit of discovery."
[21:15] <Janus> "... Let's not try opening the door, eh...?" Janus says, looking at the runes to try and comprehend them. "At least not unless we can't figure out what the runes mean..."
[21:16] <Santos> "Some runes here, I dunno what they mean. They're out of my area of expertise."

[21:16] <Janus> roll 2d6+1 lore: magic?
[21:16] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d6+1 lore: magic? and gets 13." [2d6=6, 6]

[21:16] * Morrie walks up with the rest of the team, taking a look around, but is a bit out of his element too.
[21:18] * AutumnCrow lazily fans herself while Janus studies the runes.
[21:21] <Janus> "These... are... " Janus pauses. "Curve over T, S over L and N... Magius, confirm my reading, if you could, but... the final three words are "Give", "Earth", and "Blighted". The first one... 'Litch'? Lite rich? It sounds like 'Litch', though. Mystaran, I believe - that's what the guest lecturer was talking about that day."
[21:21] <Janus> "So... 'Litch', 'Give', 'Earth', 'Blighted'. Doesn't sound at all good off the top of my head."

[21:21] <Kotono> Magius comes up, giving the runes his own inspection!
[21:21] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[21:21] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 15." [2d6=6, 5]
[21:23] <Kotono> "No, no," he finally says, "You see, when those runes come together you don't add a T in the middle. The best accurate translation is 'lich'," he finally says, rubbing his benighted chin. "Give or gift is about right for the second, it doesn't smoothly translate. The last two are more straightforward."

[21:23] <AutumnCrow> "Well blighted hardly sounds good, no matter the rest of it."
[21:23] <Santos> "So...there's a lich hiding in here or something?" Santos asks for confirmation.
[21:23] <Janus> "Oh." Janus nods. "That... makes more sense. 'Lich'-given blighted earth?"
[21:24] <Janus> "Any relation to lichen?"
[21:26] <Morrie> "I don't think those are related."
[21:27] <Morrie> "But 'Blighted Earth'... That's never a good thing."
[21:28] <Janus> "Probably not, different name root. So..." Janus shuffles his right foot. "Voting we cover this back up for the time being and return later. Dealing with a blight or a plague we have to heal sounds counterproductive, and my herbs handle healing but not illnesses, especially magical ones. And... 'The Door That Will Not Open' implies the threat is in touching it and the door won't open anyway, so."
[21:29] <AutumnCrow> "Hmm. We are in the middle of something else, I suppose." Crow nods.
[21:30] <Kotono> Meanwhile Ebenezer goes all round the door, peering at it, "...hmm, were you all saying something?" He looks up after several moments.
[21:31] <Morrie> "What do you think is behind it?" He looks over at Ebenezer.
[21:31] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[21:31] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 9." [2d6=2, 3]
[21:31] <Santos> "Not me. I'm letting you all figure out what you want to do with the door of undeath, or whatever."
[21:31] <Janus> "Unless the client wants to try and open it, naturally." Janus adds with a slight note of despair.
[21:32] <Kotono> "Well, I'm not familiar with the term lich," he finally says, "But it doesn't sound good," Still, he looks over the door, "Then again, I suppose that would be terribly short sighted of me, no? That's the sort of things that get inquisitive scholars killed."
[21:33] <Janus> "Well. We can have it recorded and then, if you do some follow-up research and decide we can safely try opening it without killing the entire countryside, we can come back for it with you?" Janus offers.
[21:33] <AutumnCrow> "Why don't you copy down the runes and study them when you get back to town?" Crow suggests. "I'm sure you brought paper along, yes?"
[21:35] <Kotono> Paper and quill are swiftly produced. "Yes yes," he says, already starting to write. Once done he murmurs a few words, the ink drying up. Rolling up the paper and stashing it away, "This is a most curious discovery. I wonder if there's a previous scholarly record of it."
[21:36] * AutumnCrow nods. "Let's be off, then. Cover up the cave again on our way out if we can?"
[21:37] <Janus> "Worth checking into. Let's put the warning back, cover up the cave and continue on."
[21:39] * AutumnCrow puts the paper back in the box!
[21:41] * Janus nods and helps the group see their way out.
[21:42] * Santos heads out as well, and waits by the entrance for everyone else.

[21:42] <Kotono> From there the party continues on. As you advance back out...Gah! Coming to the entrance of the cave, you can see the entrance has company! Two big spiders! Too big! Two of them and big and spidery and bad! They're waiting for you, along with two small, brown furred and green clad creatures behind them! They're all at short range, the green clad creatures carrying wicked curved blades! Both of these creatures stare at the party at the same time, going from member to member, before uttering in slow, broken letters, "K..i...ll...!"
[21:42] <Kotono> OOC: Unfortunately, the natives seem restless, though at least they don't seem cunning enough for a trap or ambush. While not a true ambush, I'm going to rule they have enough initiative to force a finesse check for who goes first. Who has the highest finesse on your side?

[21:43] <AutumnCrow> OOC: we all have 3, I think
[21:43] <Santos> OOC: I have 2 actually!
[21:43] <Kotono> OOC: One of you can roll for it then.
[21:43] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+3 finesse why is the ninja so slow
[21:43] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+3 finesse why is the ninja so slow and gets 11." [2d6=4, 4]
[21:43] <Kotono> roll 2d6+3 bad guys
[21:43] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+3 bad guys and gets 7." [2d6=2, 2]
[21:43] <Kotono> OOC: Good guys go first. Janus, you can open.
[21:44] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 ?? Spider 2 ?? Imp 1 ?? Imp 2 ??'

[21:44] <Kotono> "More trouble!" Ebenezer cries, bringing his staff out, "Antidotes! You all bought antidotes, right?"
[21:44] <Santos> "You're a very excitable guy, aren't you, boss?" Santos comments with some amusement as he moves past the spiders to focus on the imps, his eyes gleaming at the sight of their blades.
[21:45] * Janus exhales sharply, glancing between the four creatures. "None of this looks good..." With that, Janus raises his staff and shoots a beam of energy at the first spider's legs, hoping to at least weaken it!
[21:45] <Janus> roll 2d8+1 beem (damage +8)
[21:45] * Hatbot --> "Janus rolls 2d8+1 beem (damage +8) and gets 7." [2d8=4, 2]
[21:45] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 ?? Imp 1 ?? Imp 2 ??'

[21:45] <Kotono> The beam flies true, hitting the spider in its many legs! It chitters across the ground, magic-burnt but not downed from the blow! Droplets of venom drip from its fangs, hissing when it hits the stone ground! OOC: Morrie.
[21:47] <Morrie> OOC: What's the terrain for this?
[21:47] <Kotono> OOC: Underground since you're still in the cave.
[21:48] * Morrie puts his hand on the side of the cave and looks at the second spider. "I'm sorry to do this to you." With that, he invokes a Geotrance.
[21:49] <Morrie> roll 2d6+2 Accuracy
[21:49] * Hatbot --> "Morrie rolls 2d6+2 Accuracy and gets 4." [2d6=1, 1]
[21:49] <Morrie> OOC: Sorry indeed.

[21:49] <Kotono> But Morrie's connection with the earth hiccups, resulting in the attack fizzling! OOC: Crow.
[21:51] <AutumnCrow> "Well I suppose you lot will be terrible dance partners," Crow quips as she thrusts her closed fan towards the uninjured spider, only to snap it open upon impact, "what with four left feet and all."
[21:51] <AutumnCrow> roll 2d6+2 ACC
[21:51] * Hatbot --> "AutumnCrow rolls 2d6+2 ACC and gets 7." [2d6=2, 3]
[21:51] <Kotono> OOC: Hit. Damage.
[21:52] <AutumnCrow> OOC: 11 ARM damage
[21:52] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 10 Imp 1 ?? Imp 2 ??'

[21:52] <Kotono> A hit in just in time, catching the spider on the arachnid body! Its entire form looks to quiver, like a balloon full of lethal poison! OOC: Santos.
[21:53] <Santos> "You know, guys like you shouldn't be carrying blades like those. Guys like me should be carrying them," Santos converses with the imps, as he cartwheels between the two, as if not concerned by the blades they wield, twirling his twin weapons and then slamming them into the side of the imp on his left.
[21:53] <Santos> roll 2d6+2
[21:53] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+2 and gets 9." [2d6=3, 4]
[21:54] <Santos> OOC: 17 damage
[21:54] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 18/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 10 Imp 1 14 Imp 2 ??'

[21:55] <Kotono> A solid, steady hit right on the imp! It's enough to make it hiss and both stare balefully at Santos! The first one thrusts out with it's thumb, going for Santos's eyes right after being tonfa-ed!
[21:55] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4 ACC and ARM?
[21:55] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 ACC and ARM? and gets 13." [2d6=6, 3]
[21:55] <Santos> OOC: AVD is 10 vs imps (9 vs spiders). ARM is 4.
[21:57] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 11/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 10 Imp 1 17 Imp 2 ??'

[21:57] <Kotono> OOC: Opposed force roll, Santos.
[21:57] <Kotono> roll 2d6+2
[21:57] <Santos> roll 2d6+3
[21:57] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+2 and gets 14." [2d6=6, 6]
[21:57] * Hatbot --> "Santos rolls 2d6+3 and gets 11." [2d6=3, 5]
[21:57] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 11/18 (blind 4 rounds) Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 28/28 Janus: 22/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 10 Imp 1 17 Imp 2 ??'

[21:58] <Kotono> GAH! A thumb right in Santos's eye is enough to momentarily blind him, pain flowing! As he staggers with that, the other Imp slashes at him at exactly the same time!
[21:58] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4
[21:58] * Hatbot --> "Kotono rolls 2d6+4 and gets 6." [2d6=1, 1]

[22:00] <Kotono> But it misses Santos entirely! Meanwhile the spiders turn on their attackers! The first spider rears back and spits out a great wad of clear venom right at Janus!
[22:00] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4

[22:01] <Kotono> The poison spew catches Janus right in the face, but at the last moment his staff comes up! It still gets him, stinging like acid! But the worst of it is deflected! Meanwhile the other spider does the same, firing at Morrie!
[22:01] <Kotono> roll 2d6+4

[22:03] <Kotono> Venom gets Morrie in the stomach, hissing against his clothes and armor! But he quickly shakes it off, avoiding the worst of it! OOC: Okay. Janus, you're up.
[22:04] <Morrie> "Focus on defeating them, Janus, I'll take care of us for now." He says through a grimace at the venom.
[22:06] <Janus> "Tsk..." Janus says. "Fucking bastar-" A glance to Morrie, before nodding. "Right. And..." Janus pauses, before pulling out a vial and getting close to Santos, quickly squirting the liquid in his eyes! "Can't afford you not hitting. You two thrash these fucking bullshit spiders and leave the support to us."
[22:06] <Janus> OOC: Eye Drops used.
[22:06] * Kotono changes topic to 'Santos 11/18 Crow: 37/37 Morrie: 21/28 Janus: 13/22 | Spider 1 11 Spider 2 10 Imp 1 17 Imp 2 ??'

[22:07] <Kotono> With eye drops applies, Santos can see again! Glorious sight, no more blindness from being gouged! OOC: Morrie.
[22:07] * Santos blinks repeatedly, then nods his thanks. "Alright, I'll focus on the spiders instead," he says, glad enough to have his vision restored that he's willing to leave the imps alone for now.

[22:08] <Kotono> With the power of the earth and mushrooms, the party's wounds vanish away, fully healed! OOC: Crow.
[22:09] * AutumnCrow continues slashing at the spider she's focused on with her fan, keeping to her usual style of striking at maximum extension...especially now to avoid those fangs!

[22:22] <Kotono> With a quick flurry of slash and counterattack, Santos downs one of the spiders as both he and Crow get bites for their troubles! But they're not down yet, either! OOC: Janus.
[22:24] * Janus inhales, before glancing at Morrie, then at the imps. Nodding, another beam of light shoots out and slaps the injured imp!
