10/4/2008 6:47:36 PM <AdmiralDracos>   With a swift and steady hand, Kythaine took the ship for a circuit around the island before setting off, comfortably steering at a good pace the little ship.  It wasn't but a couple of hours until they found themselves closing on the tower they'd seen earlier by telescope.  It looked a lot more broken up so close.  The roof was gone and numerous...green things were visible swarming over the area.  Crystal lifts
10/4/2008 6:47:36 PM <AdmiralDracos>   still moved around the outside and a little, and rocks churned about the upper and middle regions of the tower, spinning almost ...decoratively?  They did catch the light and refract it to form strange rainbows against the tower walls, and sometimes into the tower itself.  There was a fair base of ground around the tower, and should they choose they had the option of parking right at it, or parking a bit away an

10/4/2008 7:02:15 PM <AdmiralDracos>   Hanging on, they spotted the kobolds beginning to point and shout.  A few of them got bugged out eyes and began to run as it swooped closer and closer, rushing in...and squishing them as it smashed into the wooden decks, mooring itself the ...old fashioned way.  By being embedded into the wooden decks.  And greased with three kobolds, the others rushing off screeching.

10/4/2008 7:05:44 PM *   Glubtz begins wailing and moaning before stopping abrutly. "Actually, this now opens room for modifications..."
10/4/2008 7:05:48 PM <Kythaine>   "I'd have done better, but the glare off Glubtz recently shaved head was distracting."
10/4/2008 7:06:51 PM <AdmiralDracos>   There are no nearby threats, but the kobolds made it into the tower, slamming shut dozens of little doors that vanished into the walls as soon as they closed.
10/4/2008 7:06:56 PM *   Marcus shakes his head. "Well, we should get going. I'm sure we've alerted some unfriendly company what with the squashing, which, by the way? Nice landing, Kyth, crazy stunts aside."

10/4/2008 7:08:35 PM <AdmiralDracos>   The docks are pretty steady, once hopped onto.  Surprising, given they have a boat embedded into them, but hey, good craftsmanship some how.

10/4/2008 7:10:08 PM *   Hannah gets off the boat and onto the dock as sliently as possible, even knowning that she can't hide herself on an open dock.
10/4/2008 7:10:23 PM <Glubtz>   "Perhaps just ONE cannon, make it like a dragonfly, yes?  Larger ships won't know what hit them!"  Glubtz is too engrossed to feel Elladan's soft hand hit him.
10/4/2008 7:12:48 PM *   Kythaine spring out of the boat and runs towards the tower. He looks carefully, trying to find one of the doors the koblolds disappeared into.
10/4/2008 7:13:30 PM *   Glubtz soon is busy scribbling in a very worn journal, the cover held together with a colorful assortment of wires and string. Loose papers can be seen sticking out of the pages.

10/4/2008 7:21:35 PM <AdmiralDracos>   It's pretty hard...all of them seemed to have magically sealed away once the kobolds closed them.  But perserverence paid off and he found a single trap door...in the ground actually right beside the tower.

10/4/2008 7:48:55 PM <AdmiralDracos>   With a hard blow, Marcus smashed the door inward....  realizing belatedly that the latch opened outward.  Never it minded though as the door was thoroughly opened.  And shattered for good revealing a small stairway heading down into the darkness.

10/4/2008 9:30:34 PM <AdmiralDracos>   Well, this is a nasty bed of worms.  Kobolds in front of you.  Kobolds behind you.  The trapdoor of earlier was rather small and while you could run up it, they could go faster in it and you'd be easily skewerable in it.  The only sane bets are the boat and the trees...and even the boat is a long shot to get it up and in the air before they're caught.
