<Lucy> "This is ridiculous," Lucy mutters, casting a furtive glance back as she tries to see if there is any pursuit or curious observers, perhaps even invisible ones.
* Veren nods.
<Veren > "Did anything *not* go wrong there?"

<Lucy> OOC: bot!

<Kotono> No sign of anything, visible or invisible. Wait no, check that. In the distance, just barely visible, Lucy can detect a scrying sensor. Someone's quietly watching what went on in that battle, you think. It must be fairly recent - since at the barest the start of the battle, if not later.
<Veren > "We need to get into position and figure this out."
<Lucy> "We need to keep going," Lucy responds, starting on her way. Telepathically, she adds to Veren, 'Especially since I can see someone watching, and if they're any good they might see us stopping for too long.'
* Veren nods to this and keeps his pace going!
<Kotono> OOC: How far are you two fleeing?
<Veren > OOC: I'll follow Lucy's lead here since telepathy message.
<Lucy> OOC: Let's go for 5 minutes. Moore knows the plan so all he'd need to do is get to our planned stopping point later and tell us where to go.
<Kotono> Thus the party flees for a good 5 minutes. The sensor and everything else is left well behind in the dimmer light close to the darkness, away from the light sea. OOC: Go ahead, you two, set yourselves up now.
<Kotono> OOC: See #dunes, whichever of you threw that coin purse.
* Lucy settles down after another look around that's more for show than anything else.
* Veren decides to humor the other's comments about his form and shifts himself into a shapely black-haired elf woman, also changing her clothes into something form fitting and satiny, with greys, blacks, and dark reds.
<Lucy> "That's really disturbing," Lucy notes.
<Kotono> OOC: So what's the next part of the plan for you two?
<Lucy> OOC: Let's wait on Moore. If nothing happens within, oh, a couple hours we'll go look for ourselves after shapeshifting.
<Veren > OOC: Yeah.
