"Nay, it was horrible though.  Just went out there this morning to clean the steps and there he was, just leaning against the wall, bloodstains around as you could see!"

"Terrible," Cedric echoes the innkeeper with a nod, and waits for his food.

[Dracos]

The innkeeper soon brought a serving of eggs and ale for breakfast.

Salvius stretches. "I'd say we have three or four hours or so before our fight. Any plans for the day?"

[Trunkyboy]

Luciano shrugs.  "Nothing, except preparing for the fight."

The fight has been his everything for so long, he doesn't know how to live without it...

Bran sees Salvius and Luciano sitting down and goes over to join them, catching just "... ring for the fight", and has a seat at their table with a nod.

"I wasn't talking to you," says Salvius, bluntly.

[Trunkyboy]

"I answered anyway," Luciano replies just as bluntly.  He nods at Bran in return.

[Corwin]

Cedric finishes the food quickly, and nods at Salvius's question thoughtfully. "Perhaps we should first look for Miss Altania?"

[Carthrat]

"Wasn't she staying with you?" replies Salvius, tactfully ignoring Luciano.

[Corwin]

"Not in my very room," Cedric replies. "But in this inn, yes. And it's curious that we haven't run into her yet."

[Carthrat]

Salvius shrugs. "She should turn up sooner or later. Have you seen her much this week?"

[Corwin]

"Between work and training for the upcoming fight, I didn't have much chances to socialize," Cedric says, frowning. "We could ask the innkeeper, or wait for her at the arena."

[Carthrat]

"You're right," replies Salvius, shrugging. Waving over the innkeeper, he describes Altania and asks if she's been seen recently..

[Dracos]

"Well, Let me think... Oh yes, she headed off two days ago.  Handed back the keys to her room.  Said she had some thinking to do."
