Feh.

The past few days have just been as boring as hell.

Most of my friends don't come online much anymore, and when they do they're super-quiet on AIM/IRC, I haven't been able to concentrate on any game for more than a few minutes at a time....ugh.

I've spent most of my free time the past few days just refreshing the same few forums constantly, waiting for people to post. -_-

Best bet is to go find something new to do or hang out at. Get some variety in your life or go do something. Gotta break up those doldrums.

I tried to give Civil War a far chance. It even began ok.

I wish to shoot the creators in the face.

Killing is too good for the likes of them.

And Frontline? Don't get me started on Frontline.

The last issue was the worst.  The Iron Man part did a lot to redeem him, but when Captain America gets chewed out for not being a pop culture junkie and just takes it, you know something's seriiously wrong.

Captain America, Spider-man, Luke Cage; I feel sorry for the lot of your characters.

Hey, at least Luke Cage and Spidey didn't get their brains, spine, guts, and balls stolen by bad writers.

My laptop seems to have died some time yesterday evening. I was reading some fanfics when suddenly my screen went black. I shut it off and restarted the laptop after a few minutes. Seemed like it was just a bug/glitch/weirdness since the screen was loading fine...and then it went black again. After that any restart attempt just resulted in the black screen. Connecting to a different screen (ie, my TV screen) has not worked.

As a result of my laptop dying, unless (a) it somehow gets fixed by sunday or (b) I buy a new computer by then, I may not be around for S&S. I figure I should be able to find a decently priced non-crappy computer if that's the case, but you never know.

On the oddly neat side, I'm typing this post off my nintendo Wii's internet browser. Sadly, the wii has no IRC browser for me to use on sunday. Le sigh~

I'd recommend being civil about it. I'd pay the power bill myself including any shut off fee. Once power is back on, I'd go into the kitchen and fire up the old blender. Make two chocolate and peanut butter milkshakes and go up to your roommate. Smile and tell him not to worry about it and have a good laugh over the shakes. Oh, and remember to grab his head and slam it into the table until his gray matter leaks out.

I've been in Mexico for five months... supposed to be going up north to visit my girlfriend for a week (haven't seen her since she came down here in Jan!), then head home finally.  This flight was supposed to be tomorrow.

Except our travel department lost my request.

I submitted it last Wednesday (even have the confirmation number), and when I hadn't heard back on Thursday, I bugged my director who said "give them until COB Friday.  I did that and... email on Monday saying they can't find my request.

Great.

Now there are no flights left tomorrow.

I should be going on Wednesday now, but I still don't have an itinerary.

I wish this wasn't typical.
