"Yeah, well, a fight wasn't the intention, but I'd rather fight than let them point guns at us.  That entire fucking situation went ten miles south of where it should have been.  And yes, we're taking him up on the offer."

"Uh-huh. We all going to go at once? I'm kind of uneasy, I don't really get.. well, why they'd *help* us, though I suppose they might not want to try and screw with, er, you."

[Rezantis]

"I'm really out of patience.  He should know who we are and why we're here.  If he's intending to make trouble for us, then the only way this is going to end is with us fighting a titan and all the caution in the world won't help us win that."

[Carthrat]

"Yeah, if the dudes we need to help us don't want to, we're kind of fucked," snorts Tom. "We do have to try, I guess."

[Bjorn]

Bjorn is dozing in a reclined seat, but he pipes up sleepily.  "Didn't send in Philip to mind scan Michiko because he'd need a cover story regardless, an' Pax knows 'im pretty well.  Also he would have ended up fighting anyways."

OOC: I am confused as to exactly where we are.  I think we've been timeskipped to the train now.  If not, and there is something significant going on here, then this is my TIME KOMPRESSION kicking in again, and I am making a comment now for me that will be later for you.  Or a comment later for me that is now for you?  I think I'm sleeping on the train and making this remark -- when you hear it is not my problem!

"Also, he doesn't speak Japanese, which . . . I wonder if that's a problem."

OOC: Request!  Can we be timeskipped to the train?  Assuming nobody's going to give us merry hell between there and here.

"Doing all right... mostly  just keeping my head down for the moment," Tim replies, tugging his hat lower to cover his eyes. "I don't have enough of a bloody clue what's going on to really say much, so I figure it's better to keep my mouth shut and my ears and eyes open for now."

OOC: The car was assumed.  Drac's fault.  Train car, car, confusion....  I'll say the Yaks conveniently left you a car, with keys.  Or maybe they didn't MEAN to leave it, but they did, and you took it.

You had a brief ride, casually noting routes to scenic locations some of you may have visited in the past.

Now you are at the train station.

Stepping out of and abandoning the Yakmobile, the group finds that they have about fifteen minutes before their train departs.  It's boarding right now.  The plaza is crowded with milling people, most of them hurrying to stand with another group, or anxiously looking for someone they know.

A guard stands beside the banks of automated fare-checking machines, looking very bored.

Pocketing the keys to the car- you never know!- Tom yawns, and fishes out his wallet.

"-oh, right. Hey, uh, have we got any yen? I'm starving."

[Dracos]

"I'd rather meet Prometheus first...eat after," Dracos remarked, figuring someone else would offer the yen though.

No one has any actual yen except for Tetsuo and Mark.  Tetsuo still has the 5,000 he had when he left Japan in the first place.  Mark swiped about 20,000 from the fallen while everyone was distracted with chatting up Hajime and Kakuji.  That should be plenty to dine on -- if they don't have food on the train.  The schedule suggests that it's going to be a four hour ride, just about.

[Rezantis]

"Presenece of mind.  I like it!"  Nathan gives Mark a thumbs-up.  

"Tetsuo, can you get us to where we need to be?  I'm not even going to try and find my way around here . . ."

[Bjorn]

While the others are talking, Bjorn is trying to keep his face inconspicuously turned downwards.  "I'd rather take my chances with food on the train," he says.  "Sooner or later someone is going to get a look around my glasses, and I'm not the one bitching about fights."

[Brian]

"Yes," Tetsuo replies, glancing at the ticket, and then the train you are apparently to board.  This one has a conductor standing before the entrance, though the train itself doesn't look any different from the others.
