The hydra's eight heads go still, until it speaks in both Common and Draconic from different mouths. "What? How?"

"Brother!" The other hydra calls, scooting in and cramming Surraruthru between a pair of cryohydras. "Isn't this so strange?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Surraruthru grumbles to himself as he works his way through the mass of hydra necks to come to a rest above the two hydras.

"Yes, hello. I am Surraruthru. Your sister asked me to awaken you; to give you full intelligence. By the way, you'll need names."

[Anastasia]

The hydras speak back and forth in Common. It's a blur, each head saying different things. Greetings and questions galore, then both pause at Surraruthru.

"I'm Blue, becuase Ebony is a color too and she has a pretty name," The female hydra says. Ebony discreetly coughs, hand hiding the slightest smile.

"I'm Ice," the other hydra says, "Ice is good. I like ice."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Alright, Blue and.. Ice. You both have a lot to talk about and decide. Do you have any questions for us before we leave you to it?"

[Anastasia]

"Yes, one," Ice says, "Why did you do this?"

"Oh, oh! I know the answer to that, brother. I have to tell you, it's quite a story!" Blue pipes up, heads swirling around in the water.

[Iron Dragoon]

"As much as I told you, Blue, let me answer. We found your nest while searching for treasure. I was extremely intrigued by your family. Cryohydras are rare. Hydras are sometimes tamed by giants or tamers. While we could have tried to do that, I felt you were more than capable of being more. Your sister is eager to learn, but we understand that not everyone would welcome a change like this. Since you're all family, after awakening your sister, I asked her to pick another to awaken in the same way so she could have someone to discuss the choices with. I plan to help you awaken your entire family if that's what you desire.

We would also like to help you learn all you can and offer a place with us in our city, Aurora. You do need to know that Aurora is currently fighting. We won't force you to come with us or fight for us, and we'll leave you here in peace if that's what you want, but we would welcome all of you and greatly appreciate any help you could offer."

[Anastasia]

"Oooooooh." Blue says, "Oooooh. That is a lot, but learning sounds good. There's so much now to learn!"

[Iron Dragoon]

Surraruthru grins at Blue, but turns to her brother.

"Was there anything else? Your wariness shows intelligence and good instincts."

[Anastasia]

"No," Ice replies, all eight heads focuses on Surraruthru, "Thinking. Yes, thinking. That sounds good."

[Iron Dragoon]

"In that case, we'll leave you be to talk and decide. We'll return tomorrow."

[Anastasia]

What's the plan now?

[Iron Dragoon]

Unless Kascha and Ebony want to give the vault another shot, which I doubt without Jaela and Balyss, then just go back to Aurora and prep lots of awakenings and materials.

[Anastasia]

Okay. We'll hold off on loot posting all of the awakenings until we know if they're coming over or not. Any prep on that end?
