The second seal (Moore)

[Anastasia]

"I insist," Maly says, stepping back and starting to cast a spell.

"Don't fight it, you'll just make them jumpier," Balyss advises. "Let them act like they're in control."

Chance to ID the spell or interrupt if you like, Moore.

[Nephrite]

Take 10 for 46 on Spellcraft but he isn't going to stop him. He's guessing it's teleport or something similar.

[Anastasia]

It looks like an extremely stripped down and modified version of sending. A single impulse towards another person, nothing more.

"Proper transportation will be here momentarily," Maly replies, bowing again, "Please accept my apologies for making you wait, great ones."

[Nephrite]

"It's really fine, Maly." Moore says. "Thank you for seeing to our needs." He resigns himself to being bowed to.

[Anastasia]

Within half a minute, a man appears you. He's old and the classical image of a wizard. Staff, robes, pointed hat, white beard. He wears red and simply offers his hands, "I will take you along. I am Erga of the Seventh Circle."

[Nephrite]

So it really does go in that order.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Erga. I'll save our introductions since I have a feeling we'll be meeting more soon." Moore says with a smile.

Dana's really being patient with all of this, he'll have to buy her something nice for that.

[Anastasia]

Dana looks bored, but is keeping her tongue in check for once. Somehow.

A moment later and you are in what looks like a library. Thick tomes of every color fill the bookshelves, many with writing in languages you don't know. Ones you can read have titles like, 'Arcanist' 'Spellbook of Pepa' or 'Runes and potions'.

"All of you have great power," Erga says, "Magic is strong on all of you. What do you want here, travelers from beyond?"

"It's his thing," Dana goes to a chair and plops down, ignoring the groan of wood from it. "Ask him."

[Nephrite]

Moore smiles a bit at Dana and shrugs helplessly.

"My name is Moore, this is Dana, and this is Balyss. Balyss follows Selune and I follow Erathaol. We are with an organization known as Aurora, which aims to bring good to all of Creation -- we tend to find ourselves fighting against Hell and all of its allies. Please accept my apologies if we caused any concern or fear in your citizens here, it was not our intent -- but we knew that we would quickly be noticed and did not wish to hide ourselves for fear of misunderstandings."

"We have come here in search of the Buried Prince." Moore explains. "I have been given reason to believe it will help us find Algorand, which is something that will lead us yet somewhere else. In addition to that, while we're here, we would be happy to enter into diplomatic relations with your Prime, if such a thing is permissible and wanted. We are always in search of new allies who wish to do good."

[Anastasia]

The wizard sits  down gently on his chair, lowering himself slowly, "Tell me what you know about those and why you seek them, please."

[Nephrite]

"Some time ago, I found myself in another place when I got a bit lost in the Deep Ethereal." Moore explains. "Through divinations on my part, I learned that the person who created it could be an ally to our cause, but in order to find it, I needed to find the lost gate in Algorand." Moore says. "Further divinations told me that I would find it within the Samgan Empire, but I needed to seek out the Buried Prince." Moore says.

"Essentially, we are seeking further allies in our fight against Hell. It's a rather convoluted diplomatic mission, but so it goes sometimes." He smiles. "If you have reason to doubt my words, then I'm certain you or someone else are capable of casting truthfulness spells."

[Anastasia]

"To tell you this would be a great service," Erga replies, "Offering us powerful spells would be expected."

"Right, whatever," Dana says, "Aurora has that in fucking spades."

Balyss hmms, "I'm sure there's a few we could spare, though we should check first. Arcane spells and not divine ones?"

"Yes, arcane spells only," The wizard says, "Preferably ones that can be cast by a wizard or sorcerer."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "That can be arranged. If you would agree to give us the information now, I give you my word as a follower of the wisdom of Erathaol that we will return and work with you and whomever you report to to create an alliance between us and Aurora. Your comrade, Maly? The spell he cast-- the one modified from sending, it was quite interesting." Moore says with a smile. "I think that we could both benefit heavily from a diplomatic alliance."

"In fact, as proof of my words, I would be happy to teach you a spell I came up with myself, although generally only those with a bardic inclination can cast it, although there are some similarities I've always noticed between that and wizard and sorcerer magics." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

A shakes of Erga's head, "The proper tradition is that information is traded at the same time. We would want 4 spells of the Fifth Circle or higher."

[Nephrite]

Is it fair to say that this is happening concurrently with Surraruthrur's discovery of Sandalphon's Amazing Barrage?
