You cleave through the two dragons like tissue paper. They are impaled and sent hurtling down, neck and heads both throughly skewered. With the blood in them nothing but water now, they can do little but perish before your spear.

Her strongest combat power withdraws with their deaths, as the need for escalation is over. Jaela casts her gaze about, before giving chase to the efreet fleet! She can more than catch up with her speed, and by her count there were still two ships that could maneuver. She would be able to tell fairly easy by catching them from behind, as that is where she did most of her damage.

By the time you catch up, it's over. The elementals are dispersed, the efreet are routed and your allies stand strong. The  ships are now cleared, Dana waving, "About fuckin' time you caught up," she calls, "Dragons dealt with?"

You note Mei's simple robes are burned to the point of indecency and the Master's covered in soot, but they look whole beneath that. Healing magic is truly a blessing, one can reflect.

Jaela gives Dana the thumbs up sign, before quirking an eyebrow at Mei.

"Did we accidentally take any prisoners?" she asks the Master, touching down on Mei's ship. "Also, anyone needs to be topped off or have Fortunate Fate refreshed on them?"

Mei raises her hand, then uses her arms to cover herself, blushing.

"Hold on, I'll find some rags or something from the efreet," Dana says, "Fuck, it's not like all of us haven't seen a cooch before."

"Ahem," The Master clears his throat, "For whatever reason, the efreet chose to focus fire on Mei. She flew back so she would be hit alone rather than all of us.  Commendably brave and tactical minded of her."

"They probably thought they were hitting a weak link, but they're idiots," Jaela cheerfully agrees, approaching Mei before tapping her on the shoulder. "I'd love to stay and go over the fight, but these fuckers are bringing up defenses ridiculously quickly so we can't spare the time. Again, did you guys spare someone we could question, or we're continuing blindly?"

Fortunate Fate cast on Mei.

"He's downstairs," The Master says, "Would you care to talk to him?"

Jaela thinks about it before nodding. "I'll see him with Mei." Turning to the elf, she asks, "You've got some peace and love aura from Hanali Celanil, right? Let's bring out the big guns and have him pliable."

As the plan starts to come into being, she says, "Dana, if we haven't brought the slaves from the freed ships over to ours, let's do it now. Master, I need you to be on the lookout for more enemies overhead. I'll try not to take too long."

Mei quickly get some cloth from Dana and makes herself presentable. Once done, she follows you belowdecks. Here lies a single efreet, dazed, beaten and tied up. He's quite out cold.

Jaela smiles at Mei, before nodding at the efreet. Once she's sure the magic has taken hold, she rests her hand on his and restores him to just enough to regain consciousness.

Tell me how much LoH I need to use up here, I want Mei to hit him with mind-affecting 'Words of Love'.

True, her allies were key in bringing this outcome about, but such things work best when the focus rests solely on one single, overwhelming person. Plus it's part of the basis behind her fighting style, Jaela muses to herself.

"Fourfires will not exist past today. It is your chase whether you will die here with it, a final death for your sort, or be brought back to the Aurora for imprisonment for your crimes against other sapients you kept enslaved. Will you choose cooperation and life, or defiance and death?"
