The hallway ahead is bigger, for bigger creatures than the norm, and is decorated with paintings of fiery landscapes. 10ft wide or so, plenty of space to walk down. It goes on for 20ft before ending at richly decorated doors of carved volcanic stone. A deep, lightless black stone.

"Did that efreet tell you where to aim while you were headed for the tower?" Jaela asks the Master as she waits for him to take the lead. Barring an alert from Mei or Jaela's own Blindsight triggering when she sees anything within her sixty feet radius that doesn't match what her regular eyes show her it seems like their first target is the set of double doors down the hallway.

How many stories in the tower, by my estimate? Also Detect Magic so if I see an interesting aura I'll spend some time on it.

The tower is one great black monolith, no windows nor doors that you see. From the looks of it you can see it's sturdy and unnatural, certainly enchanted for strength and to be as tough as it is. The tower's about 30 stories or so. It's gathering power and about to fire again.

The fires clear and you see ahead. Ahead is a parlor, all well decorated and full of art and wealth. Fairly large but one hardly has a chance to look. Four efreet are 15ft ahead, an overturned couch being used as cover. Floating in the air above them is curious brown orb, about the size of of a human head or so.
