"Well, the ships themselves aren't going to help them win this." Moore reasons. "So it probably makes more sense for them to defend something strategically important, that they might otherwise miss."

Anastasia

Before Tepen can reply?

All of reality flashes white. There is a violent shaking, everything trembling. A howl comes from afar, like a vast creature crying out.  The world around you is having a seizure. The skies split open as the unnatural noon intensifies even further.

Together, twelve female voices cry out as one, "Children of Benfal, the day of of salvation is here! Fight!" It echos from all around you, coming from everywhere.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Moore practically jumps out of his clothes as he looks around. He's even flying and he felt that!

"Uhh... that's... good, right?" Moore asks.

Corwin

"Sure seems like the fated hour's upon us!" Jaela calls out happily.

As you speak, the clear skies cry. From cloudless skies come clear raindrops that shift into flames as they fall. The waters of the river begin to boil as cracks open up in the earth.

The wind carries a message, a woman's voice declaring, "Return to Hell or die!"

Corwin

Jaela gains altitude to better see the proceedings, asking Tepen, 'Is the clash going to take place on this continent? Do we need to evacuate?'

Mirajane hurries over, "That was Alicia's voice," she informs you, "The final confrontation's occurring."

'Hold, overwhelmed. Working,' Tepen says shortly back.

Nephrite

"Then we should probably start getting people back." Moore says, casting a Haste on everyone so they can move more quickly -- at least for now.

Corwin

Jaela is content to wait on Tepen's response. In the meantime, she asks those with sharper eyes, "Can anyone spot Adrian, Mirima and Cresiel?"

Moore will look!

Take 10 for 59!

No good. Your words are drowned out by the heavens thundering tremendously, blood-red lightning raining down.

Sylvie sends to you, 'I think we need to get back to Aurora,' she says, 'Get everyone who can get in there as soon as possible. The apocalypse isn't something any of us need to live through.'

Corwin

Jaela nods, before she draws a massive arrow in the direction of Aurora above their troops.

'We'll go as a group and look for any stragglers,' she sends to the others. 'Keep an eye out and point the way, I'll make sure we're understood.'

Nephrite

Moore nods and will keep a look out as they go back!

Corwin

'Tepen, in case the local commanders haven't made the call already, have the ships at Elons Rapid collect our troops and as many refugees as their capacity and available time allows for before gating out to a spot of your choosing on Ysgard,' Jaela sends, just to cover all their bases.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

'It will be done,' Tepen sends back.

Good to skip along?
