Curves, shapes, angles, dodges. It is chaos, it is horror, it is a glowing lavascape that all of you  must pass. Yet the party is the match of this, properly encouraged and surging - and ahead they can see a structure of some kind looming in the fog, some sort of dark place. Yet that is not all. Advancing ahead, 100ft away, is a simple figure. It is clad in armor head to toe, armor that is cherry-red hot and burning.

'Moore. I challenge you to single combat.' The voice whispers in your mind.

[Nephrite]

'You probably know me well enough to know I'm not suited for that.' Moore responds. 'If you really want to honor single combat, then I'll allow it, but I'll send one of my representatives.'

[Anastasia]

'Choose one. I will wait.' The creature says.

[Nephrite]

"It's offering us single combat. I'm sure it wants to just slow us down more, but If we just go past it we'll have more to deal with." Moore says to the others, he looks to Cresiel and then Kaja. "Do either of you have a preference?"

[Anastasia]

Kaja smiles unkindly, "Allow me."

Cresiel nods, "Quickly. Transparent or not, we can't leave such a foe alone."

"Then let's just rush him together. Why do we care about his offer?" Jetina scowls, "He's likely a daemon or worse."

[Nephrite]

"We have honor to uphold." Moore says. "Kaja, do what you do best." Moore adds with a nod.

[Anastasia]

Kaja steps forward with a grim smile, raising his blade.

The armor clad creature does the same and...

"We're just going to stand here?" Jetina hisses quietly, "Let Moore go, he didn't say anything about us waiting."

"If I go, you'll all have to deal with the fog again." Moore says. "Have patience and faith."
