Anyone who's already stuck can't make saves and has to make strength/escape artist checks to try and break free. Anyone caught by the expansion as people die within the prison and it swells needs to save. Damage is taken every round while imprisoned or touching it, starting at 20d6 and going up by 1d6 for every creature killed to a max of 50d6.
