Let's take the Ring of Three Spheres to Will and see if he can discern if we can do anything good with it - it may have souls inside it as well we need to release.

[Anastasia]

"It's an unfinished magical item. If finished it would have the power to capture souls and draw power from them."

[Anastasia]

Thus you take it to Will and...

[Nephrite]

"I'd like to better understand this." Moore says. "Can this be repurposed in some way so it isn't... well, drawing on the power of souls? Could we enable it to draw on something else - to effectively become a completely different type of magic item?" He asks.

"Like, say, could we have it draw on our own strength somehow to empower it?" He suggests. "Not necessarily our soul, but... I know there are some items that are strong because they're 'part' of someone, they've effectively bonded with them."

[Anastasia]

"No," Will says at last, "It is too focused on its task." Will speaks aloud, slow and thoughtful. "It is something the light here would revile."

[Nephrite]

"So there's nothing to be done with this?" Moore clarifies. "I just want to be sure - it's fine to destroy it, I just want to be certain."

[Anastasia]

"Yes," The answer is straightforward.

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "Thank you." He says. "Speaking of, is there anything you can think of that would strengthen what you are?"

[Anastasia]

"...I will consider it," Will says after a moment's pause. "I am not certain."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "Please, let me know if there's anything I can do for you. I realize that... amenities may not be something you're necessarily interested in, but I'd like to give you as much freedom as you choose to have." He says.

Since I've never actually destroyed a magical item before, would magic disjunction do it? If not, I guess a good old divine blast probably would?

[Anastasia]

A divine blast would generally destroy non artifacts, yes.

[Nephrite]

Moore takes the ring outside and throws it up into the air before sending a divine blast at it, assuredly large enough to destroy it!

[Anastasia]

The ring is consumed by it, nothing left behind in the aftermath.

One horror has been stopped before it could be born. Far many more remain.

[Nephrite]

Moore huffs.

Still, even with everything that's already happened today, it's time to go find Jetina and work on something she'd asked about for a while!
