Hearing his name (and ignoring the magic marker that was just planted on his person), Gourry looks up at Kylen. "Fwuh?" he says, before remembering to chew the mouthfull of flan he currently has. After swallowing, he tries again, "Yes, I'm Gourry Gabriev... um... is this about all those 'wanted' posters I was on a few months ago? That was all just a big misunderstanding because of Lina, and it's been cleared up now. So, if you're a bounty hunter, you won't get anything from me," he finishes, sounding almost apologetic.

Carthrat

"..bounty? No, I've didn't hear of you like that," replies Kylen. "I guessed who you were, actually. I've heard a fair bit about Lina Inverse and her blonde-haired bi- er, companion. After hearing her name tossed around a few times, I thought you might be it."

Kylen shrugs apologetically. "Actually, I'm something of a fan of your little entourage. Is it true that the girl over there is really the Princess Amelia?" he asks, questioningly.

Ebiris

"Wow, you're a fan of ours?" Gourry asks, amazed. "I never thought we'd ever have any fans..." Turning to face his other companions, he waves them over, "Hey, Lina, Amelia! This guy's a fan of ours!"

Finally noticing the magic marker he somehow aquired, Gourry has a brief instant of puzzlement, but quickly shrugs it off as fortunate providence. "Do you want an autograph?" he asks cheerfully, holding up the magic marker.

Carthrat

"Er, no, I'll be right," replies Kylen, nervously taking a couple of steps back. "Well.. uh, maybe one from the Princess? I've always admired her.. er, dedication," he says, looking over at the girl.

Zelgadis regains conciousness, and stands up. Looking around, he stares in shock. "Amazing. Only one building destroyed this time," Zelgadis mutters.

Corwin

"I'm pretty sure the dragon crushed another one outside," Lina mutters, gobbling down her flan.

The waitress speaks up to say, "Well, the town is actually relatively intact. While there's some damage here and there, for the most part the tavern and the building next door are the only ones that were really destroyed. Most of our problems seem to be some injured and dead people."
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

Corwin

"Are the injuries bad?" Lina asks, stopping eating. "Or beyond your town's abilities to care for?"

Hearing of the injured Amelia rushes out the door, already looking for the injured.

Merc

"Nobody seems to be injured gravely amongst those living, though it would be nice if we'd had a healer to help out," the waitress replies to Lina, not noticing Amelia's abrupt departure.

Seeing Amelia rush outside, Lina nods with satisfaction. "You're in luck! That girl's a priestess, so this sort of thing is right up her alley."

Lina returns her attention to the flan.

Gourry finishes off his flan and gives a satisfied burp. "That was nice," he says, patting his stomach. "So, what are we going to do now, Lina?" he asks, standing up and walking over to where Lina is eating her flan.

Corwin

Lina picks up her pace, while guarding against Gorry with her knife, just in case, and her own flan is but a memory in several short moments.

Hey... Kizel, wasn't it?" she calls out, recalling the name the bandits used to call the so-called traitor. "Time to set things straight! Let's go to get that treasure you've promised!"

Zelgadis finishes wiping the rubble from his clothes and walks over to Gourry. "Gourry, what's been happening since the inn collapsed?"

Ebiris

"Yo, Zel, you're awake," Gourry waves to the chimera before his gaze catches on the magic marker held in his hand, then switches to the bedoodled face of Zelgadis. "Uh..." The blond swordsman makes a brief attempt to puzzle things out, before shrugging it off as another of life's little mysteries. If it was really important, someone would probably explain it to him...

Refocusing on the question, Gourry searches his memory to try and give as clear and detailed explanation as possible. "Well," he begins, "After you got knocked out, there were a bunch of bandits running around..." he scratches his head in thought for a second, "I think they were called the Poo Drunken Fags or something like that... and we fought them for a bit, and they had a dragon, and Lina cast Dragon Slave on the dragon. And that guy," he points at Kizel, "Is going to lead us to some bandit treasure now."

His explanation complete, Gourry nods in satisfaction before he notices something amiss on Zel's face. Leaning in, he uncaps the magic marker and finishes off one of the bunnies which is missing an ear. "There, that's better!"
