Swift, slimy slaads stumble seriously, shimmering shots sprawling slaad sideway. The blast takes out a few and wounds the rest, the vast burst hitting so many as you see it. In the back sits a mounted icon of a naked woman, gorgeous and with ample features. It's made of solid gold, six feet tall and atop a platform of pure pink crystal.

It's one hell of a thing, too. Overwhelming magic comes from it. It definitely enhances senses - and there's more, but as a powerful artifact you'll need time with it undisturbed to begin to unravel what it can do. There's layers to the magic deep and powerful indeed.

Slaad are light blasted, battered back as some are vaporized and others scream. It helps as the hoard is pushed back, as you feel it. Pain. Faint pain. You can virtually feel the pain the slaad are suffering, the echo of it in your bones. You can feel them breathe, the feel of the floor beneath their feet. The rustling of wind against their skin. In an instant you become aware of everyone's senses.

Were you less, perhaps this would shatter your mind. But with you as you are now, you endure it, able to divide your attention flawlessly, filtering out the shared sensations.

Antenora holds back, "What do we do with it, then?" she asks back.

The remaining slaad come around the dragon, ready to pounce on the party next round.

Antenora's holding unless you have a better idea since you asked her to hold back. If you do, say so IC. If not Marie's up.

"Syala, Marie, see if you can block out or counter the artifact!" she asks if between deific reality warping and Marie cleverness they can come up with something.

Can Marie make any knowledge checks to identify the artifact now she's seen it and possibly ways to block it? Given it's effect spread through the entire fortress just blocking line of effect clearly won't do it.
