Amaryl will hold for the moment, she might try a dispel but CL17 means its dicey. Alicia, go. Amaryl will go after, as needed.

Alicia considers what could work then. Various energy types don't seem to bother the mist at all, but what about attacking the substance of it directly? Sadly she can't cast horrid wilting, the gold standard for such spells, but she does her best with what she can. "I'll try removing the moisture from the air," she says, her divine command of reality enforcing itself on the world around them!

Use Dispel Water as the base for the effect I'm trying here, just taking out the moisture from the air rather than destroying a mass of liquid.

The mists shudder and thin at this, drawing back into themselves. It forms a large ball floating here, about 10ft in diameter with tendrils lashing out all over. It writhes under the assault, the air becoming dry and...

Amaryl.]

"NOW!" Amaryl cries, already running to the side, arrows of force gathering in her bow as she snaps off shot after show, all flying for the mists.

Init is Alicia (31) > Amaryl (30) > Man (29) > Antenora (25) > Mist (22) > Seira (20)

Arrows fly through the sphere of mist, disrupting it in parts, other arrows bouncing off as if hitting solid steel. Meanwhile Palave smiles grimly, "Yan-C-Bin's wrath cannot be stopped," he bellows, pointing a finger ahead, as a spark of lightning flies towards it, then dozens of others from all directions, like dozens of shocking knives impaling it top to bottom.

> roll 1d20+39 Reflex

> roll 30d8
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 30d8 --> [ 30d8=131 ]{131}

The blasts of lightning hit the sphere all over, a moment before Antenora is there, a speeding blur as she charges forward with a war cry, spear thrust out. She is ablaze with opal blue light, like a comet soaring across the sky.

Swift action to use opal fury, +200 temp HP and +4 strength, along with +3d6 extra vs evil.

> roll 1d20+74 (+6 morale, +4 sacred, +3 luck, +2 charge, +4 dread, +14 furious strike, +13 smite evil, -20 PA)

The blow slams into the sphere of mists, making it howl like a banshee. A dreadful noise erupts from it as opal light cascades through it, the tendrils withering before your eyes. They fade away into little puffs blue-green mist, the center sphere collapsing into itself. It comes together to form a stone perhaps the size of a fist, falling to the ground and shattering. Victory!

Free act. Alicia figured out the trick right away then Amaryl and Antenora were in position to escort it out.

Corwin

The sheer amount of awkwardness Seira is feeling at present is fit for a giant dragon, which is probably why she doesn't revert to her usually-preferred self.

"On the one hand," she bravely pushes through it to deliver an alternative ultimatum to Palave, "you no longer deserve to die for treating your comrades as sacrificial pawns." Tilting her head, she continues, "On the other hand, you are a terrible person and Yan-C-Bin is even worse. Will you surrender? You cannot win in this situation, and if you attempt to we will be forced to escalate further."
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Palave draws his scimitar with a rustle of steel, half an eye on Antenora as he turns to the rest of you. "This wasn't your treachery, dragon?" Not a hint of fear to him, only steely determination. What else would you expect from such a champion, though? "I expected this from Chan's forces, but not the two of you."

"We'd assumed you'd summoned it as a last ditch defence," Alicia returns. "If it was us we'd have no reason to destroy it as we did."

Corwin

"We came through the front gates," Seira adds to that. "If I had tried to be cute about it, you would have been dead before spotting me. Unless you fancy yourself more talented than Lixer, prince of fools, feeling all safe in his inner sanctum on Avernus?" She returns the gaze evenly. "I shall state the terms. Surrender and be treated well, and eventually repatriated for concessions from your master to Princess Chan. Face me in battle, and I will end you and take your divine spark."
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

"Then who is behind this craven attack?" Palave scowls, "I-"

Darkness falls.

Palave freezes, as darkness falls completely, only your superior senses letting either of you see. A woman's voice, a voice that brings a chill to you. Soft, sensual, lulling.

Oblivion comes.

"Shar." Antenora declares, looking about in the pitch darkness.

Do not resist. It will be painless. Oblivion will free you from your burdens forever.

Amaryl draws her bow, as a faint purple glow begins to emanate from everything but yourselves and Palave.

Come Alicia. Come Seira. Come here and stop struggling. Rise up higher.

Palave snarls, and in a voice of a whipping, crackling wind, "You interfere foolishly, Lady of Loss."

"You were second on my list, right after Lixer," Seira says conversationally, or as much as a giant dragon could under the circumstances, glowing an angry red with specks of hopeful gold to counter the purple in her immediate vicinity. "The color scheme threw me off. Can Oblivion come later, you think? We were in the middle of something."
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Ebiris

"You'll have to do considerably better than that, Shar," Alicia says coldly. "Spare us your juvenile taunts."

Anastasia

Above you, the roof simply dissolves. Above you is open Air - and far above, the Eye of Shar shines darkly in the sky. All around it are vast creatures of black, enemies you have faced before. Nightwalkers, surrounding the Eye of Shar like moths around a light.

It is no taunt. Come and embrace oblivion. Let my servants usher you beyond worries, beyond pain.

"Then we'll just poke your eye out, Shar!" Amaryl declares, "If you open another, we'll poke that one out, too!" She raises her bow up, aiming in the direction of the Eye.

"You have no dominion here, Shar. Leave!" Palave demands.
