Perception as well as d100.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

74 and 14:04] <Nephrite> roll 1d100
[14:04] <Kobot> Nephrite rolled 1d100 --> [ 1d100=20 ]{20}

Anastasia

In the future, could you not have the 74 on the same line as a pasted dice roll? I almost missed it. Thanks.

You immediately find something in the first room you search - a hidden compartment beneath a bed. It's also trapped.

Not a problem at all.

A little magic, and...

Take 10 for 68 on Disable Device. Apparently Pathfinder changed it from Int to Dex, which is interesting.

Anastasia

It works either way. If 3.5 did multiple possible abilities for various skills, I'd see it as being Int/Dex, your choice of which.

The trap is undone and within lies several small bars of a shiny, silvery metal.

Moore takes them and moves on!

Anastasia

It's in the grand bedroom that you find it - a hidden door in the private garden there, burning trees and plants all around it. Opening it up, you see it. A rod of shining mithril, about 3ft tall and decorated with rubies all over. That looks like a teleportation beacon to Moore.

Take 10 for 74 on Spellcraft -- Will physically taking it do anything? I.e. with it in their possession can they Plane shift out or does it scramble it?

Anastasia

It will, if you take it out of range of the point it's currently at. This will take some walking, obviously.

Would an antimagic ray suppress it?

Anastasia

It should unless it's an artifact and they generally aren't.

Is there anything else on this floor? If so, let's grab the beacon and explore. Moore can just hold it for now.

Anastasia

As you go to grab it, you notice a faint indent on the floor around the beacon, as if it's slightly sunken down.
