Not enough here to quite crack it, I think. Post otherwise if you think you can show otherwise, by all means. I assume boosting is used, but as it won't be enough I'm not going into details. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

Marie sings - but as beautiful as it is, it isn't enough, not yet.

<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

"Sorry," Marie sags afterwards on seeing nothing done. "I think this'll need Selune or someone on that level after all."

Corwin

"Latha, can you use the brightest Light spell in your repertoire?" Seira muses, feeling better at the song. "Maybe if Light counters Shadow, the spell will be easier to break."

Corwin

Okay, so say Latha burns like a torch and makes Shar's spells uncomfortable and lowers the spell's DC. Then we use wishes/alter reality/miracles, though not to boost CL but to lower the DC of Shar's spell vs a single roll some more. I can try my hand at it and see if we get a high roll. If Marie can aid in the vein of cooperative magic, maybe we'll punch through. Thoughts?

Anastasia

Latha's certainly willing to aid, as is Antenora. Up to y'all if you want to try.

<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Sure, Marie has loads of bardsong and alter reality costs nothing, whatever's needed I'll do.

Corwin

Cool. I'll boost my roll to +53 with a creepy tattoo and use twin Miracles to try and lower the SharSpell DC on Ranbar and Martan. So that's two!

00:29 <Seira> roll 1d20+53
00:29 <Penuche> Seira invokes Penuche's magic: < 64 > [d20=11]

Anastasia

Empress Sulia closes her eyes, glowing with a radiance that shines even amid the moonlight. "Please..." she breathes out, holding Martan.

Antenora is next, laying a hand on Ranbar's head, "See again," she says, voice gentle.

Alicia's own will joins them, a current of power underlying everything else, rising up to join them all.

The light of the moon and the sun come together, Latha rising into the air. She says not a word as radiance spills forth, brightness nearly blinding - save for four points of darkness, two sets of eyes utterly open and black.

Amid this all, there is a shuddering shake of - !!!

> roll 1d20+85
<Penuche> Kotono invokes Penuche's magic: < 91 > [d20=6]

AC, Seira?

<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Regular AC is 103 with my spells still active (minus Selune and Luneli's bonuses)

From Ranbar's eyes a claw of shadow reaches out for Seira - yet she manages to project a field of pure force, a momentary reaction that is enough. It blocks the claw, averting it. The light of the moon shines brighter amid all of it.

Leave.

With an unearthly howl and under assault from all places, the darkness within those four eyes erupts out like a burst fruit, spilling everywhere and gone beneath the power here. All that is left is empty eye socket afterwards.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Seira touches the pair, calling upon the magic of regeneration. Good thing they were asleep, and spared this much, at least.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Ebiris

Alicia bows her head in gratitude for Selune simplifying what would have surely been an ordeal otherwise.

Anastasia

The wounds are vile - but Seira's presence is nothing but holy, enough to overcome such a problem. Eyes return, both resting deeply.

"Rest now," Empress Sulia agrees, "Rest."

Antenora exhales, "Another small victory," she concurs. "One step at a time."

Corwin

"Nothing small about it," Seira tells Antenora, grinning widely. "That place actually got me down and I didn't even realize it till I heard Marie sing. There's always a way if we work together! Shar's pretty damn insidious to make me forget it even briefly."
